Owner Richard Hart is among the most qualified residential side sewer specialists in Washington. With more than 20 years in the plumbing and excavation field, he has successfully replaced numerous residential and commercial sewer lines.

We utilize the latest trenchless, “No Dig” techniques such as Pipe Bursting and Cure-in-Place Piping (CIPP). By using these techniques, we can help our customers save money by not disturbing landscaping and concrete in most instances.

Hi, I’m Richard Hart! I’ve been a professional plumber for both residential and commercial needs for over 20 years, specializing in underground utilities. I was among the first to receive certification for Cure-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) installation and have been engaged in pipe bursting since it became available.

While working for other companies, I was taken aback by the lack of respect and concern for homeowners. This led me to establish a company where compassionate individuals could come together to provide top-quality service and workmanship for our community. Moreover, I sought to create a work environment where our employees feel valued every single day. That’s why when we say WE CARE MORE, we stand by that commitment. The core of our business is centered on you, your home, and your family. We look forward to serving you!

Sadly I paid them $515 to install a customer supplied garbage disposal and that's just because it was a simple install not a major adjustment, that would have cost more. They did give a $50 discount only because they rescheduled on me after I wasted 2/3rds of my day waiting close by home for them. Plumber also gave an estimate to put a cold water line to our fridge which is no more than 8ft from the sink, that would be $3,000. Also, since it was a first visit the did a full plumbing inspection which was told we need to replace all of our plumbing for the house which includes two bathrooms, a kitchen and two hose hookups on the exterior plus our water heater is over 10 years old so that's gotta go too. The quote for all of that plus the fridge line was $28,000 and they would not be responsible for any damage to our drywall they'd have to remove to install said plumbing. The best/worst part is after all these ridiculous price estimates the plumber asked if we would be okay to put their sign in our yard to advertise for 3 months and we, as well as him, could possibly win $100. Harts does care more .... about taking your money.

15 minutes to replace the faucet in our tub because it required a certain tool. We provided the new faucet. Over $350. When I asked about it he said that he could take off $75 if we screw on the faucet panel. Faucet started dripping less than a year later. Then they offered an Amazon gift card for a five star review.

Hot water heater went out. Amazingly they were able to come out that day. He quoted us 14,000 for a new water heater and he could do it tomorrow, or 1600 for a repair but the part wouldn't be available for 6 weeks he said plus he said our heater was gonna go out anyways. Luckily the next day we got a second opinion. This new guy was able to fix it in 10 mins and no new additional parts!!! Im not sure if the technician harts sent was trying to take advantage of us because we are women or he is just bad at his job... stay away from them... i feel so bad for other women and seniors they probably scare into paying 1000s of dollars like they tried to do to us.

Hart's Services replaced my kitchen faucet. I provided the faucet with new supply lines. The installation took approximately 1.5 hours.

The Good: The service technician was knowledgeable and thoughtful. The faucet replacement was done well. Hart's online appointment feature was easy to use and text messages verified the appointment.

The Bad: Upon arrival, the technician quickly tried to upsell me with additional services and requested to see my water heater. My appointment request was simple and explicit: I did not need nor request additional services.

The Ugly: The price was 4x what I expected. The labor-only service, before tax, was $747, or approximately $500/hr. Absurd. That is certainly a deal-breaker for me and will preclude me from using Harts again.

Two separate appointments on two separate days were cancelled last minute... at the end of the day.

So if you have a plumbing issue and need it to not be solved? I'd still recommend going elsewhere. Waste my &!*% time....

I am convinced that this is a very dishonest company that encourages their plumbers to charge fees based on what they perceive that they can get away with. I have had three separate experiences with Harts. Each time the problem was exactly the same: plugged main drain between the house and the street. First time problem solved with around $600 for snaking the drain. Two years later same issue $500 to get the drain flowing. Both times the plumber was there less than an hour. Third time was only a week after the second visit. The drain had plugged again. This time the guy that showed up said it would cost $700! I paid it; but again, for about an hour of their time. I ended up hiring another company a few weeks later to permanently repair the line.
Last week a friend told me they hired Harts when the drain plugged in their clinic. They reported that the plumber removed the toilet, snaked the drain, got it flowing and charged them $1700! The best part is he refused to reinstall the toilet because he said there were ""foundation"" issues and it was against company policy to reinstall the toilet. They wanted some crazy amount to go any further. My friend had to get another company to place the toilet back in place. During this process they discovered that the Harts Tech had broken the stud bolt off the slab while he had removed the toilet the first time. It was a mess.
So if you are going to hire Harts Services you better just hand them your wallet and get it over with.

Horrible experience. My husband's solo medical practice office had a plugged toilet line. Technicians detected that the outside line was plugged. Harts Services charged us over $1,700 to unplug the line, working from an outside opening. The job was done in half an hour. Technicians then came in to check one of the toilets and decided to remove the toilet. They told us that the base was damaged and would require almost $5000 to rebuild. Also they told us that it needed several thousands of dollars to re-coat the inside of the pipe line located outside the building. Ours is a solo physician office that has been very hard hit by COVID last two years. We cannot afford more than $10,000 of work. My husband asked the technician to put the toilet back in. He said company policy that he could not put it back in without us agreeing to pay for the work per his estimate. Now we have a doctor's office with a toilet that is removed. How can we continue to operate? Today is a bad day. I want to cry. I will try to hire another plumber to put the toilet back in. I will stay strong and believe that it is just a toilet problem. It could be you a super high price to put it back in. My husband's statement: ""In the evening, I watched Youtube on how to install a toilet. I found it wasn't that difficult if I just get a new wax seal. In the morning I took a look at the displaced toilet for the first time since removed. Part of the attachment base and screw were broken by the technician the day before. We called Harts to demand repair. Harts representative did not deny their fault, they were willing to come out to repair if we pay for the repair."" We are not crazy, why would we want to be over charged again, especially it was they who broke the part in the first place? We trusted Harts when their advertisement said: ""We care"". We are sorry to see that Harts is so heartless, unethical and irresponsible.

A couple of months ago I got up early to leave on a business trip and the kitchen had a strange smell in it I determined my under sink instant hot water heater had failed. I unplugged it and went of to the airport. I called my wife advised what I did and asked her to call Harts to replace the unit as we have used them frequently over the years, She called and a service rep came out and gave her a quote of $2200.00 to replace the unit. I advised it sounded too high, so after a few weeks I went out and bought a replacement unit for $350.00 and replaced it in 15 Min. I am very disappointed in Harts attempt to take advantage of my wife and myself with this price gouge, as a long-term customer. Please be carful when using these people as the pricing may not be the best.

I hired Hart to go to a rental home and remove a garbage disposal. The plumber arrived and quoted me a price of almost $800.00 to remove a garbage disposal and replace about $30.00 worth of replacement pipes. The costs to remove the old disposal and install a new one was $11.00 higher.

I had a renter demanding the use of her sink so I felt I was forced to pay the outrageous price.

I have contacted Harts 2 times hoping to get some reduction in the bill amount. I have never received even a call back. A normal plumber charges about $300.00 a hour. This job took less than 1 hour. I feel totally ripped off.

It appears to me that Harts has a heart for their pocket book and surely not the customers they service.

To say the least, I will never use or recommend Hart Plumbing to anyone.
