Greetings, I’m Richard Hart! I have over 20 years of experience as a professional plumber, focusing on residential and commercial plumbing, particularly in underground utilities. I was one of the early professionals certified for Cure-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) installation and have participated in pipe bursting since its introduction to the market.
While working for other companies, I was taken aback by the lack of respect and concern for homeowners. This motivated me to start my own business, creating a space where caring individuals could unite to deliver the highest quality service and craftsmanship to the community. Moreover, I sought to establish a supportive workplace for our employees, where they feel recognized and valued daily. That’s why when we say WE CARE MORE, we genuinely stand by that. Our business is fundamentally centered on you, your home, and your family. We can’t wait to assist you!

On 11/4/2002, I needed a front hose faucet replaced and Matt Stanil of Allreds plumbing performed the necessary service. The overall service was excellent and Matt was not only very friendly, knowledgeable and but very polite. He showed up on time and explained what the problem was and the options to best resolve my problem. After deciding on the option I wanted, he quickly and thoroughly explained the Diamond Service membership programs which I enrolled in during our brief visit. This was the kind of plumbing experience everyone should experience when something plumbing goes wrong. I highly recommend Allreds and hope you are lucky enough to get Matt as your technician--Randy in Kirkland
First, I would like to say that Mike, the plumber who came out, was excellent. He communicated very well, was neat in appearance, and honest. I have nothing against the plumber. Next, I cannot say anything about the quality of the service since I rejected the bid. What I would like to say is that this company is insanely overpriced. I was an inspector for a custom builder 30+ years ago. I was trained in basic plumbing so I could make repairs. I am not a master plumber. I had a leaking shower drain in my second story. I diagnosed the issue. I opened up the ceiling and verified the issue. I then saw that I would have to cut out part of the drain line in order to make a replacement. I was very busy and decided I would pay for someone else to do it. I estimated that the parts would be less than a $100 and it would take at most 2 hours to repair. So, I thought that maybe the plumber would charge me $500. The estimate came in two parts. $2500 if they replaced the trap and the drain. $1500 if they could replace just the drain. They included cutting the sheetrock, cutting out the broken drain and pipe, replacing the drain and pipe, but not replacing the sheetrock. The task list is completely reasonable. The estimate was ludicrous. I decided I knew enough to do it myself. I purchased the parts and supplies (plumbers putty, ABS cement, Drain, ABS pipe, couplers) for $65. Mind you a plumber would have cement and plumbers putty I didn't so I had to buy an entire unit even though I only needed a fraction of it for the job. Also, remember, I had already cut the hole in the sheetrock. It took me 45 minutes to make the repair. I did not have to cut out the trap. So, I did the $1500 job in 45 minutes and spent $65 (less when I return the unused couplers) in supplies. Actually, it cost me $165 because I had to pay Allred $100 to come out and provide the estimate. I understand there is overhead and a 1 year warranty and all but really, the pricing is absurdly unreasonable. Think about it. They are charging roughly $1900/hr to do the job. If I add in the time they took for the estimate that would go down to $1150/hr. But Technically I paid $100 for the estimate so, $1900/hr is the price.
P.S. Their pricing is based on the type of job. Mike had a book with a fixed price for the type of job. He estimated the job they way the company required him to estimate it.
Ran into issues mostly because I didn't adequately research things, it was mostly cost related, not service related however they do stand by the 100% satisfaction guarantee and they worked everything out and I am satisfied with their resolution to the problem
Update: 1 of the 2 toilets they installed stopped working, they tried to clean it was a plumbing issue even though they replaced some of that and it wasn't working well when they left then it stopped. Eventually they did come out and fix for no additional charge at least.
Far worse though they cracked our brand new tile flooring! They claim it wasn't them but no one has been living in the house and this is the first work we are having done on the bathroom! Despite this information they refuse to take responsibility for the damage they caused!
First felt ripped off with their simplified pricing that hides the fact that they charge obscene labor cost with it being over 80% it seems. I think they do this so you don't realize you are getting entry level toilets for deluxe prices. They reduced when complained but then the quality was bad and they denied an issues but eventually agreed they had a problem and eventually fixed it. As of this saga won't end we noticed they cracked our flooring but they won't take responsibility despite it couldn't be anyone else.
Beware!!!! Overpriced, poor service and will damage your home!!! There is a reason they lost so many customers after taking over stacks plumbing, we used them for decades but will never be back. Matt isn't good at his job and josh the owner defends him even when he does a bad job and damaged property.
After doing a lot of research, I thought I was in good hands with Allred's when my Navien tankless water heater needed repair.
Scheduling: I called and scheduled for a visit. The day comes and no one shows up. Turns out I was never fully put through the system, so no one was scheduled to show up. Ouch, I don't have hot water/heat for several more days. (In all transparency, they did refund the cost to come out, but it's not much compared to the next few fees..)
Cost to diagnose: It was $100 for them to come out and turns out it cost an additional ~$600 to diagnose and cover future trips where required. What I found was that a lot of plumbers won't give you the cost to diagnose or even an hourly rate on the phone. They can argue that each system is unique but they did an hours worth of troubleshooting and charged this insane price.
Cost to fix: The diagnosis was that my unit's circulation pump and secondary circulation pump was broken. Mind you this is a 2 year old unit. I was quoted $2000 to fix it. What blew me away was that the secondary circulation pump cost $1200 to replace. The pump costs $100 at Home Depot... I was quoted $400 to drain the system, so how can you charge $1100 just to replace it? Sure there is a markup on supplying it, but even from an hourly perspective, how could you charge that much? They also pushed that they were able to make the repair the same day so that I would just pay the insane cost (with the $100 refund from the scheduling snafu.. woohoo..) . I insisted to shop around and boy was I happy.
Diagnosis/Alternative plumber experience: They actually misdiagnosed the issue on top of all that. I called another business that specialized in radiant heating. They had transparent pricing ($289 - how much it cost to come out and it included first hour of diagnosis; $240 - how much it was every additional hour, billed in 15 minute increments). They were able to diagnose, fix the actual problem, and even service it in an hour and a half (air bubble in unit + low pressure causing circulation pumps to not operate).
As a new homeowner, I'm hoping this review helps when people are on the search to fix their water heater.
Michael L.Me, my wife Renee and son Ethan wanted to thank Matt and Todd (and crew) for amazing service. Top notch craftsmanship and quality materials were used for our pipe replacement. We have an almost 100 yr old house and Matt, Todd and company had the expertise to fix our issue. Our job ran over the day allotted and they found a way to fit us in soon after and brought the cavalry to take care of the job. Thanks so much, we cannot recommend these highly experienced, kind and honest professionals. Jordan in their office is amazing too. Thanks again! Mike
Louise B.Matt and Estaban just left! The service was fast and quality outstanding. Plus Matt and Estaban were friendly and very professional, I dare say outstanding in this field! Showed up exactly as expected, respected our family situation, took care of the issue quickly and completely. Thanks guys!!!
I live in Carnation and the pump on our Hydronic heating system which provides both hot water and heat failed. It is a older system and parts are difficult to get. Allreds came out the next day and did a extensive diagnostic of the whole system and ordered the right parts. Today a great technician came out and worked for about three hours and made sure everything was working as it should. He deserve 6 stars.
I am so disappointed. I made an appointment for a leaking water heater, and it was confirmed. Understanding their policy is that the homeowner must be on site, I arranged my work schedule and reschedule some meetings to make sure I could be there for the appointment.
Later that day, Allred's called me back to tell me they were canceling my appointment and scheduling it for a different day -- the only day they had available was a day that I would only be available until 9:30am, after which I would not be available. I explained this to the customer service rep and asked if I could please keep the original appointment date. She said no, they had given to someone else already.
She also said that I would need to be physically on site and could not have my tenant (who is extremely trustworthy and in constant communication with me) let them in and call me on the phone. Because they have a policy that the homeowner needs to be physically present, I would need to be there. I explained I could only be physically present on this new date until 9:30am, when I would need to leave. They said they would put me first on the list for an 8-10am window, so that I could leave by 9:30am for the appointment that I could not miss. I appreciated that.
The day came. I arrived at 8am expecting their technician to be there soon because they had told me I was first on the route for the 8-10am service window. I sat in my car until 9:15am, and when no one had shown up or called, I called them. They told me their technician would not arrive UNTIL 9:45AM!!!!! I was crestfallen and had to leave. I asked them to please come anyway and that my tenant could let them in and they could call me with any information, and I could meet them at a later date if needed. I met with my tenant and explained this, and he assured me he would let them in and have them call me for any questions or needs.
The technician arrived at 9:45am, assessed the situation, and told my tenant they would be sending me an estimate for the work. The technician explained to my tenant that I would need to be on site before the work could actually commence. No problem.
A week and a half later an estimate had still not arrived, and no one from Allred's had called me back. I called today to ask them about the estimate and was told THEY WILL NOT WORK WITH ME because I was not on-site for their first visit and they believe I lied to to them (!!!!!)
I explained this is not a situation where anyone is trying to trick them. I was on site physically until 9:30am and then HAD TO LEAVE. I asked if they could please send the estimate, and I would be happy to arrange an appointment to meet them in person, and I'm happy to pay extra for it, before the work commenced.
No dice. I was told they are not going to work with me now or ever, because I ""violated their policy"" of not being on site for the initial visit.
I can understand having a policy like this, and that the company needs to cover themselves so that tenants don't order work that landlords don't know about. That makes sense. But in this case, I was forthright and worked with them after THEY changed the appointment date on me, and did everything I could to be there. I made it clear I would be there until 9:30am. They showed up at the 11th hour after telling me I was first on their route.
I guess there must be so much business right now they can say no to whomever they please, but this is just so disappointing. I feel like they have wasted my time, and are treating me like I am a bad person.
I'm disappointed.

Allred Heating has a good guy in Cameron Hoffman as a sales Rep. He explained options patiently and worked to help me keep within my budget and still buy a good quality furnace. Its not cheap to replace a furnace but mine was from 2007.
I am a satisfied customer
Stedman S.Hired Allred to replace a water heater after they bid the job. When they finished, they gave me a bill for twice the amount of the bid. I referred them to a neighbor before they gave me my bill and the next week they did the exact same scam to them. They are extremely unethical, shouldn't be trusted and they do not deserve the opportunity to service homeowners!
