Horrid communication between field team and office resulting in horrible customer service. Working with Hartigan has been a horrible experience and will be the last. Save yourself the frustrating and the excessive costs and call a local business. Wind river has ruined what once was a wonderful operation.

I work all summer at VT Fish & Wildlife boat launches.
The porta potty serviced by Harigan are the most disgusting porta pottys I have ever seen.
They don't clean them on a regular basis and you need to bring your own toilet paper most of the time.
They are contracted by VT Fish&Wild.
The hand sanitizer despencers are
Either broken or empty.
Disgusting is an understatment

I was told by the company that I had orange berg piping and thats what was causing my sewage problems. I hired an excavation company to come replace the piping. They dug up my lawn just to find out that there was no orange berg piping. Called the company, got the run around. The owner got on the phone and was very rude and accused me of getting a lot refunds.I only received 1 refund after doing many years of business. He was the one that gave me the refund. This was because one of his employee's had to come out for an emergency pump and was very angry. He was swearing and slaming things around. My partner was just out of the hospital and was recovering from surgrey.Then to have a sewage back and have to deal with anger employee. I decide to write to the company and told them what happen. I just thought they should know he was treating me badly, nothing more. The owner called me and wanted to fire him. I told him I didn't want him fired. l just wanted him to treat his customers better.The owner refunded my money and even wrote me a nice letter. I didn't ask for a refund but if I knew he would later try to insinuate that I do this to get a refund. I would have never taken it. What I thought was kind a gesture was not. I guess that doesn't happen in today world. I could only wish I had the same opportunity to have him fired. If you can't trust the professional to tell you what is wrong with your sewage system then who can you trust.

We have been using the hartigan company for many years and have excellent service. They come every 2 years to pump the tank, check for any problems
, call to remind us we are due. Have had to use the jetter service to un freeze culvert and they came within about 2 hours. great company and never had any problems with personnel..Not a glory job, but it needs to be done and they do it well.

First and formost this is the worst run company in the industry. They have all sorts of management issues. The owners split their time between Florida and Vermont. The office manager has no clue about what's going on. And the dispatcher has complaints for verbal abuse against him, Through the state of Vermont. Do your self a favor avoid this company at all costs. Even local towns have bought their own vactors to avoid dealing with these clowns and their over pricing and lack of service! These jokers don't deserve to pick up our crap!

Hartigan Saved me from a complete DISASTER. Lines were backing up into the house, my elderly mother was freaking out. i called Hartigan and they Came to the rescue. Pumped out the septic, also where they dug to get to the septic there was no sign of where the hole was. He was sweet and a gentleman. Hartigan will always be the company i choose for my septic problems. I feel as if the Company Saved the day and as for the owners who had done my work order never have i talked to such sweet caring people. I will refer Hartigan Company to all my friends and family. Amazing Customer Service And reliable.
