They had an opening that day and showed up within the time window I was told. Jim responded to the call and was very polite and professional. He was shown the bathroom and the basement ceiling and quickly found what was wrong. I was terrified of being ripped off due to my lack of knowledge in the plumbing field. Jim walked me through the issue, calmed my fears and helped me realize it was a simple fix. I was very happy and will definitely call on this company for my next home owners emergency! Chris J.I'm new to the Nashua area, and needed a plumber to install a garbage disposal in my new construction house. I called at 9AM, the plumber was here at 10 and gone by 11:15. The price was fair, the plumber was professional and the work is as clean as it gets. That, plus them being able to come over on short notice was an unexpected bonus. 5 stars - very happy with the service.

Last time I had them out repairing my furnace took $950 and screenplay my heating up.
Had them do work in spring. Plumber left and we couldn't shut off heat. Called and got attitude about coming back to fix it. Went down to look and emergency heat was left on after he left!!!
In winter of course now heat downstairs doesn't come on, upstairs won't shut off. This is going to cost more money to have a competent plumber fix.
I will NEVER use this company again!
Just had one of their drivers tail gating me all through Brookline and Hollis. Hence the 1 star.
I had a technician come out today to give ma a quote on replacing the circulator pump on my boiler. He took great offense when I asked him to cover his boots with protectors because I have new white carpet. He actually looked at his boots and said they were clean after coming in my house from a snowing driveway. He took pictures, told me he would take them back to his office and let me know something soon. About an hour after he left, he called me and told me they were to busy to do the work for me. I called Maci plumbing, which sold me the part, told me how to fix if, and gave me his card and told me to call him if I had any problems. Before I left Maci's, I scheduled an appointment for him to come and fix my problem. I would not recommened Harry W. Wells & Son for plumbing issues.

Finally after 30+ years and much hesitation we agreed to replace our very old and inefficient furnace. Our friend highly recommended the company so I contacted their office and a convenient date and time was arranged. Bob came to our home and did a thorough evaluation of our needs. Very pleasant, explained the options thoroughly. The quote was accepted, job date and time arranged. Day of the job, the workers were on time, very neat, efficient and pleasant to interact with. Techs reviewed how to work the system and made sure we had no questions before leaving . Also reviewed the warranty paperwork and Rebate from the state. Big thumbs up for customer service.
I have been overcharged for some light plumbing work done by Wells recently. Installed were some sillcocks and a Delta shower valve. The sillcocks were marked up 100% and the valve was marked up 300%. All told I was charged $516 for about $125 in hardware. That kind of a markup is completely unreasonable for any service business. On top of that the installer spent 1.5 hours retrieving parts and a half hour writing up the invoice.(for which you are charged). I could have picked all of it up in about a 1/2 hour.
While the work was competent I am left completely unsatisfied by the experience. I cannot recommend this plumber due to this.
Oh, and they have not returned my call to discuss this.
While other businesses tried to take advantage of an emergent problem, Wells provided me with a fair quote and backed it up with outstanding work and customer service. I am sincerely appreciative of everyone's assistance. I will happily refer everyone to Wells for their services.
