My experience was terrible. Service guy came out and diagnosed my ac unit as having a bad fan blower motor. I get like I was dealing with a car salesman. He went out yo his truck to talk to someone like at a car dealer. He can e back with a price of $1800 for a new motor. A new motor is around $250 and it takes about an hour to complete the entire job. I had a local company come out and estimate the job at $550. Harris is obviously ripping people off. DO NOT CALL THEM. They also charged me $69 for the visit which I really want back . They also tried to talk me into replacing my system telling me if I sell the house I will recoup that money since I mentioned possibly moving in the future. They are just scum he that over charge for a simple motor replacement that I could've done myself but didn't have the time.

Jimmy Hart from Harris Plumbing was able to repair our air conditioner on an extremely hot day. He did a great job and offered three options. I am grateful that I am able to extend the life of a nine-year-old unit. Jimmy was very kind and professional. I signed a contract which not only gave me a discount but ensures I will have yearly maintenance, which should also help extend the life of our heater and AC.

Please DO NOT call this company even if they are available. They forced us to spend $7000 to replace our water heater when it could be fixed in $100. Provided us both quotes but refused to do the repair.
I usually do not write reviews but for this company I am, because of my experience.

I had an appointment with Harris for Monday in the afternoon. I came home at noon and waited but heard nothing so I called at 4 pm, and 5 pm. Each time I was told they'd be here but they didn't know when. then at 5:18 I got a text saying I had to call in the next 10 minutes to let them know I was home. I called immediately and was told they were coming. I called again at 6:20 because still no one showed up. I was told I'd get a call back. No call. So I've spent 7 hours waiting and wasted my day and no one has bothered to call or show up. This is not how to treat your customers.

If you are looking for reliable and considerate service, you definitely want to rethink using Harris Plumbing, Heating Air and Electrical.

Scheduled and appt with them for 10am. Rearranged my schedule to meet with them. After an hour waiting, I called them and they said they had an ""emergency"" and had to reroute my technician. They said they would have someone there soon. 15 ins later I received a message that they have someone on the way if I could wait another hour. I agreed and they sent me a new tech assignment. 15 mins later they called and said, the new tech had to be rerouted due to an ""emergency"".

2 1/2 hours later and I had to cancel. Why would you ever work with a company that has no respect for your time?

Imagine if I contracted them for the job.

I suggest u Neva eva use this place.its bad when u hav an old man come to your house, set u up 4 service, only to rip u off,& act like to this day they don't know.i gave them 250$ for propane tank rental/fill-up & installation.they told me they had to call the city, wait for a permit(that I paid for)then they'll b back.THAT WAS 3 YEARS AGO.and I didn't know they were the same company cuz they had a different name for plumbing.they got me for 2000$ on a simple fix.im disabled,I don't have the strength to take them to court ,I'm positive I'd win but I hope they run into the right ppl that will.

In 49 years of life I have not written a review nor dealt with an organization this AWFUL. DO NOT WORK with Harris. They took advantage of my elderly mother (80 years old) & sold her the most expensive heater she did not need. They told her the cost would be one price then hid the cost on the spreadsheet. It didn't stop there - she is unable to walk down steps to the basement where the work was done. Look at the pictures regarding how they left the basement its unbelievable. I have called into the company numerous time to get them to complete the job and remove the oil tank which my mother has paid for and gotten nowhere. The most careless and awful business & people hands down.

I initially called for a 'tune-up' on my oil heater from Harris before the winter season truly began, only to discover that my furnace was badly damaged by a roof leak from somewhere around the stack. The people from Harris were quick to address my needs, and a consultant was at my house promptly. They told me they would run a line to my propane temporarily while we waited for the gas company to install a meter, and then connect everything at a later date. Three days later, they arrive for the installation.

Problem 1: wrong heater. They ordered one too big for the space. It was several hours later, but they brought a smaller unit. I still haven't seen a price adjustment though I have called several times (got some song & dance about an ordering mistake).

Problem 2: can't use the propane tank I have. Too small (more on this later). So I have to bear with the next few weeks without heat. Got it.

Problem 3: One of the pvc stack pipes on the roof was turned upward with no cap to prevent rain from running down inside. I called. No call back. Called two days later. No call back. Then, it rained, and not only is the roof leak still there, there was water filling the tubes inside. I called again. Twice. I finally get a service scheduled to come check, only to have the tech call me that morning to say that it was done right (according to the model) and the water will go out the drain. Leads to...

Problem 4: No drain installed! Since they didn't run the propane line and were waiting on the gas company, no one went into the crawlspace to install it. I call again. No call back. Finally, I tell someone that they can come get their furnace if they don't want to call me back. Cue the HVAC manager.
He tells me that they wouldn't have done the propane at all, and the consultant should have known that. He schedules another tech for the next day, who confirms there is no drain or rainguard/cap (both which should be there). He says he'll reach out to the manager. No call back about having either of those issues resolved. Still no cap or drain to this day.

And finally, Problem 5: Called a roofer to take a look at the flashing and assess the leak. He takes pictures of badly corroded flashing, into which Harris installed their pipes without addressing the issue at all. When I sent the pictures to the manager, his reply: ""we don't replace that, my installers should have let you know it was in rough shape.""

So, Harris Heating...very quick to sell you a $10,000 heater (even if that's not the one they install), but completely dissatisfied in all other areas. This weekend temperatures will dip into the 20's, and I have no heat other than electric space heaters. Zero stars.
