I had an issue with my HVAC unit. Techs Ryan & Zachary resolved the problem. They were thorough & professional, and took the time to answer all my questions. I've come to expect this level of service from Harris.?

so I gave them a second chance. about two years ago they ripped me off, sent me some money back, and I just let it go. I called them again, figuring they wouldn't try it again bc first time I reviewed and complained. Tech says you need a whole new system @ $14,000. I am so beside myself. I get a second estimate--$5 electrical outlet was not working! they're thieves!!! I reported them to BBB too! disgrace!

A year or so ago, we called Harris for what we thought was a pipe leak between our 1st floor and basement ceiling. Harris came and inspected and found out it was a burst hose on top of our hot water heater, something I could have replaced easily if I would have done a better job looking. Maybe a 20 dollar fix at Lowes. Well Harris convinced us to replace it with copper piping and we going to charge us over 700 for this fix unless we bought a yearly service plan. Which then took a percentage off this service call dropping it below 600 bucks. Still super expensive. They also gave us an estimate after telling us the water heater was going to fail soon, the price for new water heater, parts and labor, almost 6k. We told them we would think about it and did our research, realizing that it should even cost half that for us to do it ourselves with getting city permits for inspection. Since then Harris has called us several times and we have explained we didn't want to renew our plan or even really use them in the future. As far are work, I'm sure they are good, as far as price, they are definitely super expensive and cost a lot more than the average repair or replacement should be. If you have deep pockets, by all means spend away. But we all don't have $600 bucks to drop on a simple hose repair let alone $6,000 bucks to drop for a hot water heater.

Run from this company. They are only out to upsell and lie. Trust me. Run. Lied about the price of a tune up. In addition , a tune up was nothing but them telling me my 2 units both needed to be replaced. Here is the kicker. Both of my state systems were running perfectly. I seen an ad for a tune up. I figured a tune up could not hurt. After they left the units miraculously stopped working. I truly feel they sabotaged the system. Run from this company

Absolute dog shit experience. Waited a day and a half for someone to show up, only to have the guy get there and then pull away for another half hour. Turns out he went for a bite instead of doing his job that he was already an hour late for. Came in with a garbage attitude.complaining about the long drive. Fiddled around for a bit and I asked him to leave. Was blown away by the lack of professionalism across the board. Do not call this company.

Terrible experience. Our 6 year old HVAC wasn't cooling down the house so I called Harris for a service call. They spent about 4 mins looking at the outside condenser before trying to sell us a new $10,000 unit. They never even went inside. We called a different company and, within an hour of coming out, they had replaced the broken part for $300 and our A/C is working great. Harris clearly just sends salespeople, or 'technicians' who don't know what they're doing. Also, I am 9 months pregnant, which I feel like they took advantage of.

Nice people, totally incompetent management. Some of the technicians are capable, some are lazy bums. I canceled my service contract with them less than a year in, after spending about $50k for plumbing and electrical upgrades.

if I could put 0 stars I would . had the biggest nightmare from this company. bought an upgraded 2 stage unit and the kids they hired didn't even hook it up to the 2 stage . also they left a big gas leak in my basement that could have blown up the house and also wasted a lot of money on the bill .. they chipped up almost every one of our steps and took them a few weeks to get someone out here . all in all they had to inconvenience me and come to the house 9 times , I don't have that many days available and I had to make it work .the manager of the company did not handle the situation correctly. They did fix the job that was completely botched in the first place . But he did not make me a
Satisfied customer to where I am
Comfortable using them for future Services and I abdol will not recommend them to anyone . I will implore people not to use them . At first the u it , It was put together with tape and glue ! I expect more from a professional company which they are not . PSEG should not approve this company for installation.

Please be careful with this company. They prey on senior citizens. They charged my father in law 897.00 for a facet replacement. Scammers!!! Buyer beware!!!!!

Obtain a written contract before the job is started. If you have not signed a contract BEFORE the job is started the most the contractor can charge you is $500. New Jersey's Home Improvement Practices Act protects homeowners when using contractors in their homes.

Contracts for home improvement projects costing more than $500 must be
written and must include the legal name and business
address of the contractor as well as a start date, a completion
date, a description of the work to be done, and the total
price. The contract must also include the contractor's
registration number. The contractor must also provide you
with a copy of his commercial general liability insurance policy
and the telephone number of the insurance company.
If no signed contract is in place BEFORE the job is started the most the contractor can charge you is $500.
