I contacted HARP a couple years back. I have 2 condos and one business I wanted serviced regularly. I also hired them to install 2 new HVAC systems for my business. They handled the condos pretty much no problem, except getting appointments made lately has been nearly impossible. The 2 systems they installed at my business did not function properly for the whole cooling season until after several visits they final repaired all leaks in the system. Then they send me a form letter stating they no longer want to service my business because they do not want to service a business. Well, I guess I take all my business elsewhere.

Had them come for a maintenance call. The only thing that needed to be done was to replace a trap which I told them had been leaking. They charged an outrageous $219 for this! I looked up the cost of the part on line and saw it only cost between $10 - $20. I never should have agreed to it. I felt on the spot. They were here already on the maintenance call, which cost an additional $80 so another $200 to replace a trap seems way out of line. I left message with the Service Manager to complain. My only thing that I don't agree with was the $98 diagnostics fee not being partially applied to the repair cost when you have the job done.
I can understand the charge if you don't get the repair done.

I have used Harp a number of times in the last couple of years, furnace tuneup, new A/C install, water heater failure, new programmable thermostats and a bathroom faucet breakdown.
Every encounter with all the Harp staff was pleasant, professional and honest. There was good communication every step of the way and great customer service. On the last visit the technician took photos of the problem sent them to the manufacturer, fixed the problem on the spot and ordered replacement parts (no charge) sent to me to have on hand if any future problems develop.
