Promises a free estimate but charged me a """"service fee"""" of $75 but yet no service was performed. He sent 2 people out and just looked at the shower handle and determined that they needed a new part without even touching anything. Literally. Promised to return the next day to fix my shower was a no call no show. Promised to return on Monday, no call no show. Here we are Tuesday still no call no show. I called his voicemail is full. Texted him and crickets. Never use this plumber. Awful.

My water heater burst and I needed to replace it. I told him I had a 50 gallon electric water heater and the estimated price was $1,675 and that he could replace it same day. I called a few places and the prices were definitely less expensive ($1,400-$1,500) however, they could not replace for at least 1-2 days. As hot water is a necessity in my home, I elected to move forward and pay the higher price in order to have the convenience of hot water. I sent Harold a picture of the specifications of the old water heater so he could see what I had. They arrived promptly and had a crew of 4 out to do the job. They were very courteous and did the job quickly. When I went out to look at the hot water heater, I noticed that it looked smaller and when I asked, the technician told me it was a 40 gallon. I told him that I had a 50 gallon, to which he brought me over to the old one and showed me it was in fact a 40 gallon, just built differently which I appreciated. I also noticed that my old heater had copper and brass piping from wall which they connected to from the old water heater and replaced with CPVC and it definitely seems flimsy compared to the other piping. The reason I am giving Harold 4 stars is because I feel that while I had given him verbally the wrong size (50 vs 40 gallon) and he came with the correct size of 40 via the photo I sent, he didn't adjust the price accordingly as it was probably $50 dollars (or more) less than the 50 gallon price. I feel that's an integrity issue of knowing you paid less than what you quoted, but pocketed the difference without passing it along to the buyer, but that is how I look at things and I realize not everyone does. I would give them a 3 on this aspect of it. The technicians were all very friendly, courteous and respectful of the project.

I'm a DIYer that sucks at plumbing. At this point I have called Harold's Plumbing for all my plumbing projects and they always hook me up. Couldn't rate them higher. They've installed multiple bathroom sinks, shower fixtures, and a broken pipe. Only plumber I call

This was the first and last job with Harold Plumbing Services. They are simply unable to do the right things either the first time or the second time. In addition, they dirty everything wherever they go and leave everything a mess. The finishes are terrible. I used this company for a project in Temple Terrace. I had problems in everything they did, from installing a new bathtub and not fixing it (YES, installing it loose). They were not able to test the bathtub drain. This leak has flooded the laminate floor installed behind the wall where the bathtub is located twice. Yes, twice. (When the first flooding problem happened, Mr. Reeves told me that it was due to water that was inside the old cold water pipeline that leaked under the floor. I believed it and did the repair. When the house went into contract with the new buyer, the Home Inspector went to test the bathtub and simply the drain installed by them leaked so much that the water flooded the corridor behind the bathtub again. I never see situation like this before. Poor job. Also, They did all the installation of shower valves and simply did not test the water lines to see if they worked. When the house was ready, I went to test it and saw that the cold water in the house simply had no pressure. It was discovered that the cold water line in the house would have to be redone. (Why hasn't this been seen before with a simple test?) They redid the cold water line by running pipes outside the house (poor and ugly service) in a 100% renovated house. Several drywall repairs had to be done. The house was a mess. Now I am facing a difficulty in making the final reckoning with them and discounting the losses that they caused me due to flooding damage on the floor. They are threatening to place a lien on the property if I do not pay the full amount to them. In summary. STAY AWAY from this company.
