Worthless Company. They stole $400 from me for a deposit and never fixed the issue. they stood there for 20 minutes and said nothing is wrong. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!?

After the derecho which caused very extensive damage to my home, I called Hardons to help disconnect wiring, hvac and electrical. They were swamped with other work but came quickly and performed the tasks.After I had our home reconstructed, I asked them to replumb, rewire and reconnect heating and cooling. They were professional, polite and did high quality work. I have had them for drain/sewer issues and their work fixed my issues quickly. I watched their work and every employee was an excellent worker. I WILL have them for any further work.

Update to my review. Regarding the person that was sent, plumbing may not be his specialty, but he did check several obvious causes of the problem. Mr. Hardon called to see what could be done to make us happy with the service. A revised bill was sent for $79.13. We all learned something that day.
1. I should have asked about what they charge.
2. Tools for the job should be on hand.
3. Check outlets for blockage.

In November my boiler system stopped working. I asked friends/co-workers for recommendations and they suggested Hardon's. I gave them a call. During the service call, the technician ran into a problem he was unfamiliar with so called another technician to come in. Realizing that Hardon's was located 20 miles away I knew that things were going to be expensive. It ended up needing a new valve. I was expecting about a $400 bill. I was so shocked when I received it...$983! I called and spoke to the office/billing personnel and expressed my concerns with the amount of labor I was charged with. The initial tech was at my house for 3 hours, the additional tech was there for 1 hour. I was billed for 8 hours of labor. They ended up having to use part of the old valve with parts for the new valve because they couldn't get the new valve to work. I ended up speaking with Marty, the owner, and he hasd my bill re-done knocking it from $983 to $680.
The boiler worked for about 2 days. I had to call them back and have them come back out to the house. The ""new"" valve wasn't making contact with what it needed to in order to trigger the boiler into action. The same tech who initially showed up came back, bent a piece on the new valve to ""make it work"". Again, worked for about 2 days. I am having to go down and force the contact between the necessary parts in order to kick the boiler on for heat in my house. Every morning I wake up, though the thermostat is set for 70, it's 60 or cooler in the house. CLEARLY things are NOT fixed, yet, here I sit with a $680 bill.
Payments in full are due within 15 days then a 1% interest after. Let me be clear, the individuals I had contact with were very professional and have had ZERO issue with them as far as that goes. However, I didn't get the results I was hoping for and frankly expecting for the money I have to shell out. I'm paying $680 yet my issue has NOT been resolved. For that reason, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Hardon's. If things change I will make an ammended review.

Hardon's installed a water heater with no notice (power-vented gas, which replaced a leaking electric water heater) and ran furnace ductwork to my second story, 100 year old home. His crew was FAST, professional, thorough, and cleaned up all the mess (which was minimal to begin with). I was very impressed, to say the least!

Can't trust them. Our furnace was installed incorrectly and I kept getting sick.....yep you guessed it. Lucky I survived, my kitty did not! I could write a book, but it wouldn't be a good one.
