Hardcastle Home Services has become our go-to company for plumbing, electrical & HVAC and has done several other projects for us. After installing our water treatment system, we contracted with them to install a whole-house Generac generator to compensate for our sporadic electrical service. The installation went flawlessly, was done very professionally and was inspected and approved by the county in 10 minutes. It's already kicked in 3 times to ensure we have electricity when Core stumbles.

They installed a new reverse osmosis system for drinking water and left a full set of replacement filters for its next service.

They installed a new kitchen faucet, replacing our original faucet, which was a lemon from the get-go.

Because getting hot water to our kitchen sink required running off almost a gallon of water each usage, I contacted them about installing one of those instant-hot, tankless water heaters under the sink. Instead, they added a new pipe to the hot water side of the system to constantly circulate hot water in a loop back to the hot water heater. It's driven by a small, efficient pump that's plugged into a smart receptacle. That turns the pump off at night and back on in the morning. The end result is that when you open the hot water faucet, you get hot water in 3 or 4 seconds and waste very little water before it gets hot. A much less expensive and more efficient method than the tankless water heater and we love it.

And one thing has held true thru all the work that Hardcastle has done for us is the quality of the Hardcastle employees and the integrity of the company. They are the antithesis of the contractors everyone in Teller Co. complains about. They return calls promptly, they show up on time, they communicate proactively with emails and text messages, including letting you know when the technician is on their way to your job. They're faultlessly courteous, they finish their work as promised and on time and the quality of their work is top-notch. They employ a master plumber and a master electrician to ensure that work is done to their high standards.

I would recommend Hardcastle to anyone needing plumbing, electrical or HVAC work. They're a definite cut above most other service providers.

The wife said we needed duct cleaning after owning our place for seven years so we called Hardcastle due to their stellar reputation. Josh, the son of the owners came out, right on time as scheduled and took a look at our ducts. He explained the procedure and processes and got to work checking the system.
After some time looking at and photographing all of the registers and ducting, he gave us the news that everything was very clean and clear and didn't need a duct cleaning!
We appreciated the honesty and business work ethic and asked him to perform a heater and whole house humidifier service.
He gave us a great price on the work and we are*very* happy and appreciative of Hardcastle.

This was my first encounter with Hardcastle due to my last company went out of business. I needed a new furnace and thermostat and Nathan was
here along with Hayden (who was new). They were very patient about finding the correct fuse selector. Once that was completed the rest of the work was smooth sailing. Nathan answered all my questions about the system and warranty.

BEWARE!!
Very angry. We have furnace checked yearly n this year get a crazy a$$ quote for 1000's and had second opinion. None of my motors need replacing!!

Within a week of initially contacting Hardcastle Heating , Air & Plumbing They had replaced two heaters with all new ducting , installed two new thermostats and provided personnel instructions to me (which I definitely needed). They also repaired a dryer vent that was not even connected thru our exterior wall. They were timely, informative, courteous, polite, considerate, on time and extremely professional. Moms boiler broke. She's 88 and on oxygen. No boiler means no heat and no hot water in March. Hardcastle came to the rescue. Although they had work scheduled through the next month they contacted additional help who began repairs the same afternoon. For the next two and a half days they worked full days, without breaks, pulling out the old boiler and hot water tank and replacing it with new equipment and up to code gas lines. Hardcastle sent an additional technician to help. Both men were professional, courteous and hardworking. They kept their stated arrival times. Each day they called 10 minutes before arrival. When the work was complete and we were bringing mom back into her cottage, (with her oxygen tank) the men were busily vacuuming her carpet, saying they try to leave a site better than when they arrived.
This company deserves 10 stars, not just five!
