When Fort Worth put a new meter on my house I was told I had gas leaks under my pier and beam home. One company wanted to charge me $9,000 to repipe the house or 6,000 to do the repairs. With no money tree in the back yard I waited through the summer without gas to the dryer, stove, hot water heater and AC because a retired teacher has a very small retirement income. This company came to my rescue after multiple other calls not returned and three other bids. Hard Times was prompt, courteous and had all the work done and approved in two days with a price retired teachers can pay when their state check comes in. I will call them again when needed thankful for their gracious manners and workmanship. Folks, they're Christians and act like it.

I wish I could leave 0 stars for this company. They came over to fix my garbage disposal and when they got here they discovered that it was installed wrong when it was originally put in which caused the system to back up. My landlord said she was going to charge me for the repairs even though it wasn't my fault. I called and spoke with Eric (one of the managers) and he said I should not be charged for the services since it was installed incorrectly and he would call the landlord and explain that to her. A few minutes later I got a call from another manager who was extremely rude and hateful saying I should be held liable for the "damages" and basically told me I was lying about what happened with my garbage disposal. I wouldn't recommend these clowns to anyone, completely unprofessional. They also snapped our baby locks on both counters and didn't bother to reimburse for the damage THEY caused. I wouldn't recommend this company under any circumstances. AVOID HARD TIMES PLUMBING!!!

A colleague recommended these guys to us and we have become fans. They are efficient, honest and clean up their messes. See appreciate the switch response times. We have used them for our primary residence and rental units. They're now our go to guys.

Unless you want lies and to be overcharged, don't waste your time. Home warranty dispatched these guys to fix an issue with my A/C drain plumbing. Eric showed up and proceeded to tell me that my entire drain was completely wrong and that it needed to be redone and that the home warranty wouldn't cover it. He then quoted me $275 + parts. I promptly told him to get out. And the way he scrambled out of here at 100 mph told me that he simply didn't want to do the work.

I called two other plumbers and both quoted me $125 to do the same work. Obviously Hard Times was just trying to take advantage of me and using the home warranty as an excuse not to do the work. I wouldn't hire these guys for anything unless I wanted BS and to be overcharged.
