Yes. It's true. These guys are good. Sam came out as scheduled. He fixed my shower temp valve, my sink and reset my kitchen sink drain, all within an hour. He pointed out future problem areas and told me to keep an eye on them. The price was more than fair for his work and expertise. Very happy.

Two plumbers came out to replace my shower hardware. They discovered my existing faucet is so old that it would need a lot of work to make the new one fit. I decided not to have them do the major project right now, and they didn't charge me anything for coming out. I will be calling them again in the future.

Saturday night I somehow managed to clog up my kitchen sink. I tried to fix the problem myself by plunging, draino, etc. Sunday morning I called my handyman to see if he could help me out. He tried plunging and even using a water hose hooked up to the water heater to flush it out, but the clog wouldn't budge. I called Happy Sam's Plumbing at about two fifteen on Sunday afternoon. I spoke with Al. I told him my plight and he said he would be there within an hour. Sure enough, he arrived by three fifteen. He had a drain snake and quickly went to work. I also needed a new P trap, as mine was leaking. Before I knew it the drain was cleared, I had a new P trap with no dripping and he was on his way. Al was pleasant, and he knew what he was doing. I was so glad to be in good hands. I have had a few different plumbers out here in the past couple of years, but I will stick with Happy Sam's from now on. Thank you Al.

Our condominium complex had a serious water leak from a drain pipe in the structure. Water was leaking through the ceiling of our electrical room and directly onto the electrical boxes! It was an HOA issue. We called for an emergency job and they were able to arrive within 30 minutes! The guy fixed the problem within the hour. Needless to say that was awesome.

These guys are great! They showed up within a couple hours, even though it was late on a weekend. They diagnosed the the problem and when it became clear that they'd need more heavy duty equipment they showed up early the next day. Sam's a great guy and his Yelp reputation is well deserved.

Let me just say, GOD BLESS PLUMBERS nationwide. They have such a unsanitary job to do. I'm a nurse and I know I have a pretty dirty job, but they really have an unsanitary job.

I called for a Saturday job and they were able to come within 2 hours of the call. The original problem was actually bigger than we thought, but they were able to fix the problem despite the multiple jobs they had planned ahead for the day (which i am eternally greatful for!). They had to snake from my roof, which is extremely dangerous and extremely rare from other plumber companies. They were able to clean out the main line and thankfully, were at a reasonable price considering my house is an older house (built in 1896).

I was so thankful I even told the guys to name their price. But they gave it to me at the base price even after cleaning up the mess and cleaning up my tub! So grandma Sam if you are reading this review, you raised a wonderful grandson!

Will use again if I have to, but they did a fantastic job, so hopefully I won't have to!

They do only take check as a form of payment .. I think that would be the only thing that I would change. In times of need, for some people, they may only have credit card available.

Background:
We had a relatively big problem with a sump pump. Called 3+ different companies for quotes.

Pros:
-cheaper than others (significantly). This is because he recommended just the necessary repairs rather than trying to upsell
-related to the point above, they seem to be honest

Cons:
-the project took a long time from start to finish. I am the landlord so didn't know for sure when they are working. However there was a period where they were meant to be working, but apparantly were on another job instead. I called to check the status a week later and was told they were working on a big project for the city. It would have been nice if someone kept me in the loop

Despite the con above, I will use them in the future due to the honesty and reasonable prices

Happy Sam's is the BEST!!! I called Happy Sam's to replace my toilet. Happy Sam's was a pleasure to deal with right from the start! They showed up first thing the next morning and promptly did the work. They were fast, clean, professional, courteous and honest! Integrity is such a valued asset in a contractor and I can't thank Al enough for making this experience such a positive one and doing such an EXCELLENT job! Five BIG Stars!! Thank you so much!
