I found Happy Rooter on Yelp. I needed a drain snaked. It wasn't a serious and immediate problem, so I called hoping to get an appointment in the next few days. Victor was out within the hour and was finished shortly after. He was pleasant, explained what he was doing and advised me what to do to prevent future problems. Pleasant, swift and efficient-what more can you ask? I will call him in the future when I need a plumber.

One of our toilets backed up and there was no explanation. When I opened the cleanout in front of the house out came icky water all backed up - our main sewer line was backed up and after normal business hours. Victor's guy Juan came out within two hours and cleared the clog with a plumber's snake but also ran into an obstruction in the pipe that he couldn't clear. The next morning they discovered using a camera that not only was there a clog but dirt in the line (not okay in a sewer line) from some sort of break in the main line under our driveway!

What we'd hoped would be a quick fix turned out much pricier--a trenchless install of 20 ft of new pipe underneath my driveway--but these guys were honest and open the whole process and helped me find the least invasive option! Ands completed all of that in less than 24 hours from my first phone call!

Found Happy Rooter through Nextdoor. Needed to get my downstairs bathroom unclogged on the weekend. Spoke with Victor who came over right away and took care of the problem. Gave me some advice on how to avoid it in the future. Prompt, courteous and reasonable rates -- will use again.

It was 10pm and after a shower the shower handle ended up stuck in the on position with water flowing at max rate. Turned the water off to the entire house and tried to fix it ourselves to no avail.
Called Victor and he immediately sent Richard over. Richard arrived faster than expected and was just the nicest man. He immediately started trying different ways of fixing the handle but unfortunately it was a broken part so the water to the house needed to stay off until he was able to purchase the part. He didn't leave our house until midnight but promised to go to Home Depot when it opened at 6 the next morning and be back to fix it right after that. That promise alone was amazing!
Next morning he showed up bright and early with new part in hand. Fixed it in a matter of minutes, even took the time to clear out our drain. Price was so very reasonable for what I would consider late night and emergency services.
I would not hesitate to call on Richard again. He is a shining example of a real professional who knows his stuff and provides excellent customer service. Victor also was amazing with communications!

Called and got voice mail. Oh no, not this again... Within a few minutes I got a call back from Victor and explained we needed some pipes snaked. He coordinated with my contractor who is working on a renovation to a rental property. Victor showed up and had everything dealt with by noon on the same day as the call. Oh yeah, his finished price was less than the jerk who stood me up and quoted a price just to show up at the job site. Based on my bait and switch experience with rooter services ($15 becomes $150 in an instant) I will be calling Victor again next time I have the need.

The plumber they sent charged us $1900 for fixing an outdoor broken pipe...and it turned out that they didn't fix it correctly. Then they said it would be an additional $8000 to ""really"" fix the issue.

We got a second opinion and had the issue fixed by another plumber for only $900.

We used them based on other Yelp reviews, and I'm thinking that either (1) they have a lot of fake reviews (not uncommon in this industry) or (2) they thought they could take advantage of a woman who didn't know any better. Either way, what they charged and the fact that they didn't really address the issue is something we are considering taking them to court for.
