Sometimes it's hard to find a reliable person to work on your house but after looking, we found Steven and Happy Flow. We were dealing with an issue in our bathroom being a slow drain that Steven came out an hour after we had inquired about it.

Steven and his wife took care of it and I had some little projects that I had asked if they could also take care of which included some sink drains, shower arms and controls.

Steven did one of our drains and then came back the next day to finish all the others. In the process of installing/replacing parts of our bathroom, he noticed a leak in the main bathroom that was replaced not too long ago. He explained the issue very clearly and what he needed to do along with the parts that he would have to get, and some others just in case.

We had Steven come back again, (now the 3rd day in a row) and he kept us in the loop of the parts that he had to get and asked our opinion if the way that it looked was ok and communicated very thoroughly what he was going to do.

Steven did a great job with all the jobs that we had, along with ones that we didn't even know that we needed to get done. All this time, he was not pushy and just let us know what the issue was and what would happen if we didn't want to get it fixed so I appreciated that.

My toilet recently wouldn't stop running, and I called a number of plumbers to come take a look, since it's not a standard toilet. Quotes from other places ranged from $353-1500! Steven Lin at Happy Flow Plumbing asked me to take a picture of the fill tank, and then said he thought the issue was really just a seal gasket issue that I could fix myself. But because my toilet isn't standard, he went and found the exact parts that I needed and sent me a video on how to do it myself. He said if that didn't work, he'd happily come look at it. But there was no need since that indeed fixed the issue. When I have plumbing needs in the future, definitely coming to Steven and Happy Flow!

I had a house emergency--two leaky water valves that needed immediate replacement in my condo, which is located above my neighbor's garages. Steven and his partner came out quickly to resolve the issue. They were thorough, efficient, and professional throughout the entire process, which really helped alleviate my stress.

Before contacting Steven, in fact, I had another plumber come over, but he didn't even inspect the cartridge / piping inside the wall, and his quote seemed insanely high. In contrast, Steven carefully inspected the issue before giving me a very reasonable quote, and he completed the job to my satisfaction.

Steven and his wife were super prompt and worked diligently on a difficult clog in our house that was affecting our bathtub and toilets. They went above and beyond by unclogging what turned out to be multiple clogs that were preventing water from fully draining.

They were super transparent and clear on everything they were doing and worked tirelessly to help get our issue resolved. They also helped explain what he was doing and provided tips on how to prevent the issue in the future. I will definitely be asking them for help next time we have a plumbing need!
