Klim replaced an upstairs toilet for me. I worried about this project for a long time since I have family visiting next week. I am so pleased with the result. Initial response time was great. Scheduling and communicating through Yelp was very easy. I bought the replacement online at Lowe's, and he picked it up there for an added fee. Found these guys through Yelp's service request. I must say they have the best response time and are very patient with tasks. I would give them 3.5 stars but bumped up to 4 due to their customer service/friendliness.


I needed help installing the floor to ceiling vidka tracks from IKEA along with a floating shelf. The price seemed pretty fair but also a but pricey for what the job is. Can't complain much as they saved me a ton of time and installed it professionally. I'm sure I would have messed it up and something would have fallen off later. Only issue I have is that the tracks they installed aren't really aligned so my curtains get stuck constantly. Its a small misalignment so it's not major, but can be pretty annoying. Luckily I dont adjust the curtains that often.

I do have more handy-work needed around the house that I had quoted from them that I would consider later in the future as it was pricier than these smaller tasks.

I had an issue with my pocket door and Happy Family Handyman was the first company available to help me.

Elijah was very professional, respectful of my home, and worked efficiently. Elijah came prepared with booties as my house is a shoe-free home.

In order to have better access to the pocket door, he had to remove the panels on the door frame. He carefully removed the panels without damaging any of the fragile wooden strips. He carefully diagnosed the issue and informed me of the issue. He warned me when he's using percussive equipment because he saw that I was on my laptop. The space for the pocket door is extremely tight and Elijah carefully hung the door back on the rail after fixing the main issue.

After Elijah completed the repair, he was very careful with his equipment to not damage my flooring. He used a shop vac to vacuum the paint that came off from removing the door panels.

I was so impressed that after he finished, my pocket door was fixed and it didn't looks like any contractor was there.

As someone who had a really bad experience with multiple subs for my home improvement projects, I was extremely appreciative that Elijah didn't break our damage anything during the repair process. Most importantly, he cleaned up after he was done.
