Hansen does the job well. However they way overcharge for parts and service. I was charged $365 for a $25 part and less than 30 minutes of service (it took about 15 minutes to replace the part) I will be looking for a different company to call next time I need HVAC service. This is the second time they way overcharge. Last time they installed a new thermostat. The part costs $50 at Lowe's and they charged $200 the job took about 30 minutes but they charged for an hour. They installed a heat pump thermostat and I do not have a heat pump. Their $25 service fee is deceptive since they tack on another $70 if they do anything except look. That's $95 for a service charge for under 30 minutes. Very unreasonable. Find a different company.

on april 11th $16000.00 for a new hvac system!!! only for us to sit in an 80 degree house!!!! might work 1 day next day no....every other day there is a problem hasn't worked right yet!!!! come back from vacation to a flood!! $2000.00 estimate on floor damage ruined our furniture on first install visit (which they did pay to clean) they have been here 5 times including yesterday and it's still not working properly!!!!! hansen heating and air your days are numbered!!!!! i have never in my life seen such unprofessionalism!! one employee left his weed vape!! another one peed all over bathroom floor!!!! this cannot be real life!!!!!!! lawyer contacted done better business bureau done attorney generals office done federal trade commission next

I used Hansen to fix an evaporator coil. they repaired it but with two issues- they charged a credit card they didn't ask to charge first AND they charged me 1295 for just labor and time. the job took less than an hour. don't recommend this business.

They have been servicing my rental properties in Mobile for years. For AC, the work and prices had been ok, acceptable that is. But they were called to one of my properties a couple of weeks ago to check on AC not cooling and an electrical issue. They replaced a capacitor on the AC and got it working again, the price was ok, BUT although they were already there, on the same call and the same serviceperson, they charged me $175 to reset, YES to RESET, a tripped GFI. How do you do that to a years long, multi-property owner? How do you explain charging $175 to push a button on a GFI outlet. Off course I'll have to also have a talk with the tenants, they are suppose to first try resetting circuit breakers and checking GFI outlets before just calling a repairman. I can accept ignorance on part of my tenants, but what Hansen Heating and Air has done is not just bad customer service, it's abusive and it's dishonest.

I have used Hansen for multiple heating and plumbing issues. Be sure to check your invoice. The are double dipping. They say $25 for diagnosis but if an incompetent technician takes longer to find the issue they add on $70 for labor. Labor is when actual work is performed beyond the diagnosis. Also make sure the work is actually done. I paid for a pull and clean and 2 months later the unit was not working again. I got a second company to look at the unit and they said there was no way a pull and clean was done. Just beware. They are getting very greedy.

My air conditioner has been out of service for more than a week. Hansen quoted an all inclusive price to replace the system. The home warranty company has been ready to move forward but needed the quote broken down into four categories. Materials, Labor, permit fee, and taxes. Hansen said they would provide the information requested. After six days and four follow-up phone calls asking for help getting the simple details I gave up waiting for Hansen and went to another air conditioning company who is happy to provide the detail I need to get my air-conditioning system working again. No more Hansen for me or my family and friends. Beware.

Had a appointment from 8am till 12 scheduled for them to come out and give a quote. They never showed or called. I called the girl at the front office to tell them they never showed and she said they were running behind. I understand things happen but no phone call or a sorry. I was going to rescheduled but the way the front office girl acted was just rude. I will not be using them IF YOU CANT SHOW UP FOR A QUOTE WHY WOULD I HIRE YOU?

Hansen installed two HVAC units for us and serviced them over the past six years. We had a semi-annual contract with them and had them repair duct insulation. They are always quick to call to update me on arrival times, and someone is always available when there is any problem. They stand behind their equipment and their pricing is fair. We have since moved from that home and I have called them to install programmable thermostats in our new home. Scheduling an appointment was easy and Emily was very accommodating. The technician made sure I understood how to operate the new units before leaving and his installation was tidy and clean. Always polite and efficient staff. We have chosen Hansen to service the units In our new home too.

Had the worst experience ever today. New unit just installed last month blowing HOT AIR. Austin F. service tech came out around 11am said it was my outside breaker that tripped and it should cool off in 2 hour. I called back after 2-3 hours still 91 degrees in my house. I call requested another service call. Austin F. called me around 1703 to inform me he was en route to my house. Almost an hour passed still no arrival. I called his number back no answer. I called the service line spoke with Annie she told me he's coming he's on another call. I asked her how could he be on another call when I spoke with him and he told me he was en route to service me. She replied, very rudely, that he's coming and I could reschedule tomorrow if I wanted to. I told her she was very rude and I didn't appreciate her tone of voice with me and that I would follow up with a call to her manager. She responded that she didn't care. I'm not sure what kinda of business etiquette you require from your employees but this was very inappropriate and unprofessional. 1851 I receive a call from Annie she informs me Austin F. returned to my home and reset the outside breaker that tripped again. I informed her he did not I have cameras and motion detectors on my property there is no need to lie. I used you company based on your reviews. I am totally disappointed with the customer service and the unnecessary lies that I received today from your company.
