I recently changed to Hansen Heating and Air thinking they were a reputable company and everyone I talked to was very polite. However, I called them out on the first service call and was very disappointed. I feel the guy who came in saw me as an elderly, gray haired lady and thought I've got one in my pocket here. He proceeded to tell me my 7 year old unit was no good, that it was a substandard brand and I needed to replace it. He then started pushing the expensive Trans brand on me. After he left I called the company I had been using for years. The service guy came out and gave me a whole different story and said I did not use a new unit and to replace the part that was causing the issue was half the price of what Hansen had quoted me. If you have ac problems I would think twice about using Hansen.

I hired Hansen Heating & Air to install my new 5 ton AC unit. The team showed up on time and completed the job efficiently. They did a fantastic job and were professional and friendly. I strongly recommend these HVAC professionals.

We had a drain back up 6ish yesterday. Called a few plumbers. Affordable Pumbers told me that because I had never used their services before I did not """"qualify """" for after hours service beacause I am not a VIP. This is a really bad marketing tool to attract new customers. Their site says open 24/7 but that is only if you are a VIP. What a rip off. So I called HANSEN around 7:00. They were at my house approx 1 hour later and done with the job within 30 miuntes. They did exactly what was expected. I paid exactly what I was quoted over the phone. They were friendly, social distancing and very efficient. So now HANSEN are on my VIP list. EXCELLENT MARKETING TOOL TO ATTRACT NEW CUSTOMERS. THANK YOU HANSEN!

My air conditioner stopped working, I called Hansen after lunch Wednesday 10/2/19 and asked if someone could come to my home, same day. they complied. The friendly man that came was great, knowledgeable, and within 5 minutes knew exactly what the problem was. He was a perfect gentleman, and well spoken. So I will say I would recommend Hansen for your air conditioning service in the future. There house call is great, and not trying to make are take your money I do know others that charge $300.00 and up. I have used there companies. but I am not talking bad about them, because they are also good. I just am not going to pay that price for a house call, unless I have to again.

I have only great things to say about Hansen. They were professional, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. Hansen is the only AC service I will ever use in the Foley/Gulf Shores area.

Hansen Heating & Air used to provide good services but they are expensive, very expensive. I do call their sales man to handle the different issues. Last time, I called them but they did not respond me. Most of their technician are rude.

I called Hansen to help me with my unit that got struck by lightening. The salesman came and took measurements of closet where inside unit was. Also I told him I wanted to replace with same quality as before. The installation people came and they tore out my wall and door to the ac. Closet. And out a larger tone unit in. Now I can not claim it on my insurance. Also I did not want a larger unit. It's just a way for them to make money or they took advantage of a disabled 58 year old woman. I reported them to the state board and they are being written up. This is just one photo of many that I have. Run from this company. The owner has not once called me and said I an sorry Chad Hansen owns it..

Bid the job without coming to the site to view. Gave a bid that didn't correspond to the specs I sent, and the bid gave minimal details of what was going to be provided (i.e. install ERV system). They had not sized the system, because they wanted to do calculations first, but gave a bid dependent on size of the system. Signed a contract with them, and then they came back with a """"we just noticed you wanted XYZ...that'll be quite a bit more"""". After the contract was signed and started, NOW they """"just noticed"""" what I wanted?? When asked for details of what they'd be providing...their response was """"we won't be moving forward with this job"""". Again...after contract signed. So perhaps if you don't want any input on the job they do, and if you don't care what solution they come up with...go for it. But if you want to trust they read contracts, and want to trust they have your best interest in mind (and not nickles and dimes) it's my opinion there are other options.

From the start, my experience with Hansen Heating & Air was great. The first time I called, I think I spoke with Ms. Heidi. I asked for a quote and received just that, with a friendly attitude. No sales pitches or unwanted suggestions....just what I asked for. The next day, I spoke with Ms. Annie and that call was just as pleasant as my first call. Ms. Annie was very helpful and spoke to me as a person, instead of as a potential client. Based on the quote I was given and my experience with Hansen to date, I set an appointment for the next day between 12 & 2. Hansen's policy is to call and make sure the customer is home by calling to verify. But, when I set the appointment, I neglected to give Ms. Annie my cell phone number for them to verify that I would be home during the appointment time. That was my mistake. Ms. Annie called my work (the number they had on file for me) and was finally able to contact me. Mr. Marvin made contact with me and arrived a short time later. I explained what we were experiencing with our system. He went to work and explained what was happening. He was just as pleasant to talk to as Ms. Heidi and Ms. Annie. Ended up costing me a lot less than I thought it would have. They all definitely deserved this praise and rating.

Great quick and friendly service. Honest service man David Russell came out same day and put in new unit - next day! We always had to use service companies in the past that our Home Warranty sent over- but now we were able to select our AC repair service and we couldn't be happier!
