I called Hansen to help me with my unit that got struck by lightening. The salesman came and took measurements of closet where inside unit was. Also I told him I wanted to replace with same quality as before. The installation people came and they tore out my wall and door to the ac. Closet. And out a larger tone unit in. Now I can not claim it on my insurance. Also I did not want a larger unit. It's just a way for them to make money or they took advantage of a disabled 58 year old woman. I reported them to the state board and they are being written up. This is just one photo of many that I have. Run from this company. The owner has not once called me and said I an sorry Chad Hansen owns it..

Bid the job without coming to the site to view. Gave a bid that didn't correspond to the specs I sent, and the bid gave minimal details of what was going to be provided (i.e. install ERV system). They had not sized the system, because they wanted to do calculations first, but gave a bid dependent on size of the system. Signed a contract with them, and then they came back with a """"we just noticed you wanted XYZ...that'll be quite a bit more"""". After the contract was signed and started, NOW they """"just noticed"""" what I wanted?? When asked for details of what they'd be providing...their response was """"we won't be moving forward with this job"""". Again...after contract signed. So perhaps if you don't want any input on the job they do, and if you don't care what solution they come up with...go for it. But if you want to trust they read contracts, and want to trust they have your best interest in mind (and not nickles and dimes) it's my opinion there are other options.

From the start, my experience with Hansen Heating & Air was great. The first time I called, I think I spoke with Ms. Heidi. I asked for a quote and received just that, with a friendly attitude. No sales pitches or unwanted suggestions....just what I asked for. The next day, I spoke with Ms. Annie and that call was just as pleasant as my first call. Ms. Annie was very helpful and spoke to me as a person, instead of as a potential client. Based on the quote I was given and my experience with Hansen to date, I set an appointment for the next day between 12 & 2. Hansen's policy is to call and make sure the customer is home by calling to verify. But, when I set the appointment, I neglected to give Ms. Annie my cell phone number for them to verify that I would be home during the appointment time. That was my mistake. Ms. Annie called my work (the number they had on file for me) and was finally able to contact me. Mr. Marvin made contact with me and arrived a short time later. I explained what we were experiencing with our system. He went to work and explained what was happening. He was just as pleasant to talk to as Ms. Heidi and Ms. Annie. Ended up costing me a lot less than I thought it would have. They all definitely deserved this praise and rating.

Great quick and friendly service. Honest service man David Russell came out same day and put in new unit - next day! We always had to use service companies in the past that our Home Warranty sent over- but now we were able to select our AC repair service and we couldn't be happier!

Expensive. The $25 dollar service charge is just to get them in the door and do nothing. It's at least $150 for anything. The lady on the phone wasn't that friendly, and they're too scared to tell you anything, because they want to be able to charge the daylights out of you. The technician wasn't friendly, but he wasn't really rude just noncommittal and unhelpful. They did the job. The repairs have held, but I just have to think there's better out there, at the least friendlier.

I do not recommend this company to anyone. They came out for a service call, said everything was working but the coil needed to be clean. He showed us how to clean the coil. We did exactly what he said and the unit wouldn't come on. We called them back and set up another appointment, which the """"boss"""" cancelled without even notifying us. We waited all day, we only found out it had been cancelled when we called to see where they were. The """"boss"""" then continues to curse and say we had done something to the unit and refused to come back out. He called with an attitude and wouldn't even talk rationally to us. Don't waste your money with this company!

Well the tech had a bad attitude when he arrived. Said he couldn't get me on my cell and come to find out it was his service on his cell having problems. Then he asked """"Do you just want me to put freon in it?"""" I said I don't know, you tell me what's wrong with it. I just know it's not blowing cool like it should. So he put a pound of freon in. He said it should cook now. I asked is there a leak and could he find it. He dropped his head and said that will be extra. I understand I'll have to pay but it's a fairly new system, only a couple years old. He said that's what you get with a Goodman, it's junk. He said we would have to schedule a leak inspection appointment. I couldn't schedule one at the time account I work out of town and my schedule is crazy. So they guy they sent had no intention on trying to fix my ac problem, just put a bandaid on it. Well when it came time to pay I said you do take a card right? He said he really preferred a check with an almost disgusted look on his face but he would take a card. Total time at my house = 10mins. I WILL NOT be using this place again because I feel like they are out to make that quick money scheduling lots of appointments into one day and not caring about the customer. And a week later my ac is still not cooling well and I'm out $180 and 10 mins of my time.

Terrible customer service. We needed new duct work so we called Hansen's for an estimate. I also called another HVAC business but they did not return my call. I went and met with Heidi Hansen at their office and agreed to have them do the work. The workers arrived at my house a few days later at 8:20 a.m. to begin work. I arrived home at 6:00p.m. to find a pile of old ductwork dumped in the front yard on top of a tree I had just planted and the intake was blowing out air but not the vents. I called Hansen's and the workers arrived later to finish the job. They were apologetic and did what was requested. They took measurement for new Vent covers and intake grate. I was told at the signing that they would be set up to come over on Saturday when we were home to finish the inside work. It is now 7:54 p.m. on Saturday night and I am still waiting. I have tried calling the 24 hr. number and it goes to voicemail and tells me the voicemail is full. I tried calling and texting the job supervisor and he hasn't returned the message and his voice mailbox has not been set up. I am at a standstill not knowing when this job will be finished.

I contacted Hansen because my thermostat was indicating """"System Malfunction"""". The technician came out and conducted a few test and told me what he thought the problem was but did not correct it. The technician also indicated that the outside unit needed a cleaning/washdown and that it would cost about $180.00 for that to be done. I declined him doing it and did it myself. I paid the technician the $25.00 for the service call and a $15.00 tip. I called Hansen the following day, after cleaning the outside unit, and they said that someone would be coming out. I called Hansen on day 3 and they said someone would be coming out. I called Hansen on day 4 and they told me that no one would be coming out.

We were new to the area a few years ago and talked to several Heating and Air companies. We felt most comfortable with Hansen. Recently we had Hansen's replaced one of our two AC units. They did a GREAT job and at a great price. The city inspector came by this afternoon and said Hansen's did a great job and exceeded all requirements. Thanks Hansen's! ML
