Extremely unprofessional salesperson (would become agitated and scream during calls). Installation team damaged washer and dryer along with numerous interior walls. Sheetrock team did not arrive for a week. Extensively overpriced. Avoid like the plague.

I recently changed to Hansen Heating and Air thinking they were a reputable company and everyone I talked to was very polite. However, I called them out on the first service call and was very disappointed. I feel the guy who came in saw me as an elderly, gray haired lady and thought I've got one in my pocket here. He proceeded to tell me my 7 year old unit was no good, that it was a substandard brand and I needed to replace it. He then started pushing the expensive Trans brand on me. After he left I called the company I had been using for years. The service guy came out and gave me a whole different story and said I did not use a new unit and to replace the part that was causing the issue was half the price of what Hansen had quoted me. If you have ac problems I would think twice about using Hansen.

Awful and awful. I am giving two stars because the after-hours service arrival was fast (less than two hours) after a lightning surge and a blow to my generator. The man who arrived told me he knew """"nothing"""" about generators (in fact I had to open it up and point out components). But the following Monday their generator expert showed up, took the thing apart and left with two components he said needed replacing (I do not doubt him). It took 11 days and five calls. Today I received my generator pieces back. This is very not cool. Given that it is hurricane season to even imagine being without my full-house generator is worrisome. Now I am back to square one but at least know to never use Hansen and wisely threw away that fridge magnet they gave me a couple of years ago. The receptionist is pleasant and the owner was aware of my situation. I don't want to dump on them too badly, but they won't have any future business from me.

Stay away from these con men. Had an AC issue. A guy came in, very nice, friendly. After looking at my AC told me I needed a new one or could do a cheap fix. Goes to his van to write an estimate. Is in the van for 45 minutes. Comes back, and calls his boss and they discuss in front of me options. I immediately felt like I was at a car dealer. They did the tag team on me to sell me a new AC. How they can help me and install today! They tried to add on ventilation sealing and cleaning too. Before you know it, I am up to $17,200. They say they can not do the duct work and get me down to $11.700. $4500 for duct work? What a scam. Anywhere else would do it for $1000. I checked. I will never do business with this company again.

We needed a new a/c technician so after checking reviews I submitted a request online to have someone call. I was contacted the next morning to set up an appointment. A representative even called a few days later to let me know an earlier appointment was available and rescheduled me. The technician came out and thoroughly inspected our unit, took care of any issues it had, patiently listened to our concerns and answered our questions, and showed my husband what needed to be repaired and replaced and explained why it was needed. We purchased the maintenance contract that allows for two service appointments in the year, one of which was applied towards today's visit. We are very happy with this experience.

on april 11th $16000.00 for a new hvac system!!! only for us to sit in an 80 degree house!!!! might work 1 day next day no....every other day there is a problem hasn't worked right yet!!!! come back from vacation to a flood!! $2000.00 estimate on floor damage ruined our furniture on first install visit (which they did pay to clean) they have been here 5 times including yesterday and it's still not working properly!!!!! hansen heating and air your days are numbered!!!!! i have never in my life seen such unprofessionalism!! one employee left his weed vape!! another one peed all over bathroom floor!!!! this cannot be real life!!!!!!! lawyer contacted done better business bureau done attorney generals office done federal trade commission next

I paid to have my units serviced and there was an issue with a freon leak on one of the units. I told the service man that I had a home warranty and I would call them to take care of it. The warranty company sent someone out 2 days later and the unit in question had leaves and dirt at the bottom. (Not cleaned) Because of the debris and dirt, the warranty company denied my claim. When I contacted Hansen all Chris was willing to do was send someone out to re-clean the units. Definitely won't do business with this company again.

I hired Hansen Heating & Air to install my new 5 ton AC unit. The team showed up on time and completed the job efficiently. They did a fantastic job and were professional and friendly. I strongly recommend these HVAC professionals.

I do not recommend this company to anyone. They came out for a service call, said everything was working but the coil needed to be clean. He showed us how to clean the coil. We did exactly what he said and the unit wouldn't come on. We called them back and set up another appointment, which the """"boss"""" cancelled without even notifying us. We waited all day, we only found out it had been cancelled when we called to see where they were. The """"boss"""" then continues to curse and say we had done something to the unit and refused to come back out. He called with an attitude and wouldn't even talk rationally to us. Don't waste your money with this company!

Hansen HVAC installed our HVAC in our newly built home in 2020. A couple of weeks ago during routine preventative maintenance the tech found a refrigerant leak in one of the air handlers. He said the defective coil was covered under warrantee but the labor to replace was $2K. I flipped out. Asked the tech how long to fix and he said 3 hours. I asked how much an hour and he said $80. I said ok, so we're up to $240, what's the rest? He said , um, there will be a torch charge. I asked how much - he didn't know. I said what else? He said, um, we're going to need to re-fill the refrigerant. How much? About $500. I said so now we're up to about $750. What's the rest. He said I don't know. That's what my boss quoted. I told him to forget it. I sent an email expressing my displeasure to Hansen. DID NOT GET A RESPONSE. So yesterday another HVAC contractor did the repair. $400. I called Hansen and asked for an owner or manager to give them a piece of my mind. The receptionist would not connect me and said she'd give them my message. I HAVE NOT GOTTEN A RESPONSE. Obviously the new owners don't care about an existing customer, nor do they care about their reputation.
