Erik (owner) doesn't pay attention to detail. First question for quote is ""What is your zip code?"" which is 85041. Then fill in the rest and got very quick response back with quote, then a few more responses back and forth, then lining up time, gave actual address and the guy says ""We don't service your area!"" Uh, I'm in Phoenix city!! Bottomline: waste of time. So, be mindful that he might waste your time too.

Messaged Erik this morning about a shower faucet with a stuck Moen cartridge. Within seconds he replied and we had a technician on the way. Our technician, Michael, arrived early, finished the job very quickly and efficiently and we are back in business less than 3 hours after making initial contact. Michael was professional and polite and offered a few tips for future repairs of this kind. Highly recommend!

I needed someone to quickly fix a toilet in my house that was flushing slowly and would not refill. They responded to my request immediately and the repairman showed up at the promised time. He worked quickly and efficiently and the problem was fixed within 30 min. This was 2 months ago and everything is still working great!

I needed a shut-off valve replaced under my kitchen sink, and based on Yelp reviews I called Hansen Family Plumbing. Erik answered my first call and asked if he could call me right back. I was skeptical that I'd get a prompt call back, but Erik did call me right back. After hearing my need he quoted me a fair price and was able to get me on the schedule for a couple days later.

Robert arrived right at the scheduled time, and proceeded to get right to the job. He was very professional, pleasant and efficient. He finished the job and cleaned up quickly then collected the previously quoted price.

All in all I had a very positive experience with Hansen Family Plumbing. I will definitely call them again next time I need a plumber.

When all the drains in the house started backing up and the toilet was bubbling when we showered, we knew something big was wrong. I called a few plumbers, but mostly dispatchers answers, who weren't able to give any advice without sending someone out. When I called Hansen, an actual plumber answered! He helped talk me through what might be wrong and suggested we try the cheapest solution first. Someone came out first thing the next day with a snake to try to clear the main sewer line. When the snake came up with dirt on it, they explained that that meant there was a break somewhere and we needed a camera to check it out. They were able to get another plumber out WITHIN THE HOUR with a camera scope to locate the break. Next was to determine whether we needed to replace the whole main line or just repair the break. Within another hour, the plumbers were digging by hand, and within two hours, we had an answer. They brought me outside, showed me the problem, taught me about the materials sewers used to be made of, and helped me understand why replacing the whole line was the best option (google ""orangeburg""- what a terrible sewer material!). That afternoon, someone was there to mark gas and electric lines, and by the end of the next day, less than 48 hours after I originally called, the whole line had been replaced. Importantly, the estimates I got at each step were what I paid, and when I called around each time to see what others would charge, Hansen's prices were VERY reasonable. Overall, Hansen was so responsive and so quick, and they took the time to teach me a lot about my plumbing. No one wants a main sewer line break, but these guys somehow made it into an almost pleasant experience. Three weeks later, it's smooth flushing!
