I would hire Hans' Plumbing again without hesitation. Justin and his apprentice were prompt, courteous, and most of all - fairly priced. I was given an idea of what the job I needed done might entail beforehand. So there were no major surprises. What I loved about Justin was his ability to communicate clearly, professionally and honestly. I could not be happier with the final results and everything is working superbly! Plus, this has been a family business for years. So I'm much more inclined to hire someone who wants to maintain the best reputation for that business. Thus, there is a strong pride of ownership, which was evident from my extremely positive experience with Hans' Plumbing.

Our hot water tank had moisture on the floor around it. I phoned Hans plumbing, and made an appointment. Hans arrived on time, and was very personable and professional. He noted, politely, that my tank had not been properly installed. He installed an expansion tank. Solved the moisture problem. Thank you, Hans, for the professionalism, good work, helpful information, and reasonable price.

Do not hire them!

They do not stand behind their work!

They installed a hose bib for me, it failed the third time I used it, but it had been a couple months, and they said they have a 30 day warranty, so either pay us to fix it, or fix it yourself. Ended up costing me $600 to fix after I paid them $300 to install.

I'm updating my review because my sink, that Jamie had installed, started to leak a couple of weeks after install.
Fortunately, I got to meet the impressive Justin that all the other reviews mention.
Justin was extremely gracious and went out of his way to fix the problem.
I'm changing my rating because of Justin. However, I experienced an enormous difference between between Jamie (still one star) and Justin - and it's Justin's business, so I'll update this review.
As far as I know however, they still don't take credit cards and don't let customers know until after the work is completed.

Didn't actually end up using them (because of a miscommunication w/my partner wherein we had both called plumbers, but was so impressed by their responsiveness that I wanted to write a review. Talked to a woman in the office earlier this AM about an issue with a pipe we discovered while doing some construction. She made an appt for me for Monday but then also added that she could place me on standby for between now and then. Justin called me in the afternoon that he could in fact stop by same day and could be there in 30 min. They had been a referral from our inspector and I was so impressed by this level of service!

Justin, the owner, was extremely professional and knowledgeable with helping my family make a smart decision for our plumbing and our house. The advice Justin gave was not in his best interest from a profit stand point for his business, he truly cared more about us and our home than tying to make money on us. Justin puts your best interest first, which can be tough to find in the housing labor industry! Because of this, use Han's Plumbing with confidence knowing you will receive great advice no matter what!

Showed up when he said he would. Charged a fair rate for what needed to be done. Pointed out some reasonable improvements I agreed with and performed the necessary repairs cleanly and professionally. I'm calling him again today for a different issue. Local Shoreline business I'm happy to return to.

My husband and I have lived in Shoreline for a little over three years and have called Hans' Plumbing in several times. After a horrible experience with another plumber, we were relieved to have completely the opposite experience with Hans' Plumbing. They are absolutely one of the best small businesses in the area! We recently prepared our home for sale and called them up again to fix a few issues.

Justin is the one who usually comes out to our home. He is prompt, polite, patient, and explains everything he is going to do to fix a problem as well as the reasoning behind it, estimate of how much time it will take (and therefore, by extension, the cost), and what he would recommend. He makes sure you understand the work being done and give your permission before he does any work outside of what was first outlined/agreed-upon. He fixed up the issues in our very old home (it's 60 years old!) with minimal damage to the walls (where he needed to drill in to replace plumbing). He also told me exactly how to (inexpensively) fix up the wall again afterward.

Plumbing work is always expensive, but Hans' Plumbing's rates seemed quite reasonable to us.

Hans' Plumbing definitely goes above and beyond! We found them through a recommendation from our furnace guy (who is also awesome). And we asked them for recommendations of general contractors when we decided to sell our house - they sent over a list of five highly recommended contractors. I checked and they all have perfect Better Business Bureau ratings. We ended up going with one of the general contractors on his list and he was also an excellent contractor to work with. There's a great network here of conscientious, hard-working small businesses in the area - we were lucky enough to find it!

My husband and I have switched off being the one at home during the various plumbing fixes we've had done and we both highly, highly recommend Hans' Plumbing.

Fast, prompt and seemed very honest -- no overselling us even though it would have been easy to do so. Fixed and explained everything in detail (we asked a lot of questions). Totally reasonable time spent. I'd hire them again!
