These guys came in and did a whole repipe for us. After several leaks over the years we decided this was the way to go. They even let us make payments.

I called Hannegan Plumbing and reached Nancy who was great in taking my information and scheduling an appointment to replace my kitchen faucet. I called late in the afternoon and Nancy was able to schedule an appoint early the next day at 7am. Tom arrived promptly at the time promised and went right to work and did an absolutely fantastic job. Tom is a really nice person and a knowledgeable plumber. I felt the cost of the work was fair and I appreciate Hannegan does not charge a fee to come out and determine what work needs to be performed ...in other words no hidden fees, etc.

Hannegan Plumbing saved me AGAIN. I have a rental unit and this time it wasn't my tenant's fault, like previous tenants, but my HOA contracted plumbers that turned off the main every day for three days. I was never even notified, but my tenant certainly felt the disruption. And then when they finally turned the water back on, of course it blew out my water heater.

So, I speed dialed Lynn and Nancy in the office, who always look after me, and coordinated a quick response visit since the reservoir for the water heater was overflowing and dripping into my airduct below. They were there in record time.

We agreed I needed a new water heater and they took it from there. Great price, no surprises, and they ensured that everything was working before they left. It is such a comfort to have a service provider I can count on, and know that I won't be taken advantage of. In fact, they are very reasonably priced, they tell you what it will cost and stick with it. No nickel and diming. They wear booties, and cleanup after themselves, and are so professional.

Thanks guys!

Re piped our whole house, did the plumbing on our bathroom and kitchen. Needless to say Hannegan is our go to plumber. Always friendly, family run and attentive.

We received excellent service from Hannegan Plumbing yesterday.
The project was to replace an old water heater with a new tankless water heater.
Chris and Mike gave us an estimate before lunch, let us shop around a bit, and came back when we called to tell them they had given us a very fair bid. They started after lunch and finished in the late afternoon. We got a great tankless water heater with little inconvenience, and at the price we had been quoted.

caveat emptor (buyer beware)
Kevin has changed!!

I have worked Kevin Hannegan on a handful of items. I like Kevin, he's a nice guy and has treated me well.

However with my last experience, I will not be using Kevin or Hannegan Plumbing, Inc EVER AGAIN!

Contractor License check: https://www2.cslb.ca.gov/onlineservices/CheckLicenseII/checklicense.aspx

SUMMARY:
I hire Kevin from Hannegan Plumbing Inc. License # 718103 to fix a leak.
Kevin subcontracts out to Tino.

TINO'S WORK:
- Does a terrible job.
- Picks up the wrong part and must return the next day.
- Brings a friend and bills his friends time at $150 per hour! The job only required one person.
- Tino invoices me for $2,500 or 3 hours of work!! (parts cost $450)
- Tino is not a licensed plumber.

KEVIN'S RESPONSE:
- Tino is not required to have a license because he is working under Kevin's license. REALLY! OK. Why did Tino invoice me directly?
- Kevin listens to my complaint about the work and overcharge.
- He reduces invoice to $1,550 by removing or reducing the following:
$500 to remove 80 (eighty) square feet of carpet.
$150 for moving clothes from closet to the bed.
He still charges me for 2 people at $150 per person or $300 per hour.
$500 fan rental for 2 days. Kevin never charged this in the past.
- Kevin invoices me from Kevin Hannegan Plumbing located in Montana.
- Kevin Hannegan Plumbing: License is ""inactive"" per state of CA website

I just mailed check payable to Kevin Hannegan Plumbing in Montana

Kevin works for his Dad who owns Hannegan Plumbing Inc, located in Dana Point. In the past, Kevin has always invoice me from Hannegan Plumbing Inc, but not this time. He invoiced me from Kevin Hannegan Plumbing. This is why I am holding the owner of Hannegan Plumbing Inc responsible for Kevin's actions.

I think it's time for a father and son chat.

The best! Family run, sweet people and fast service, they have always been there when we needed them. Fair prices and all their techs are very knowledgeable. We have had some tough projects (one example: our original water heater is In Our attic) and they totally came through where others wouldn't.
Highly recommended!

I wish I had gone with Repioe 1! We contracted with Dan Hannegan for a full repipe of our 3600 square foot home. We selected Pex for the repipe. To get our business for the repipe Dan promised to replace all of our valves and irrigation shut off which was not functioning correctly. He also promised to install new toilets for no additional charge and he said that he would install all of our sinks and washer because he didn't want another plumber to mess up his work.. He quoted the repipe at $6500 and a new hot water heater at $1000 ($1500, but a discount because he was doing the repipe). Dan did not oversee any of the work and his crew did not pay attention to the details. We had to have he and his team back 3-4 times to make things right. In the end Dan charged us $8,800 and tried to justify the additional charges with a bunch of trumped up stuff that was supposed to be included, such as valves. He never repaired the irrigation shut-off valve and when we moved back into our house after 4 months of remodeling, Dan told us he was going to charge us for the toilet installation. He said he never told us he would install the toilets for free. Once they installed the toilets they forgot to caulk around the toilets. They had to come back twice after the toilet installation and they left the old toilets on my front patio and I had to lay someone to hall them off. His workers also connected the water lines to our sinks and dishwasher. Today, I ran my dishwasher and water poured out through my brand new cabinets onto my brand new floor. Dan sent out his son (Kevin) to repair the problem. Kevin said he fixed the lines and I tested them by running the dishwasher (also new) and water poured out again. Kevin said I should contact Jennair (the manufacturer of the appliance). I looked under the sink and the water was coming from the newly installed lines for the overflow from the dishwasher and the other lines that Dan's guys attached to the new cabinet walls to clean up the lines. Also, one of the toilets they installed was not centered on the wall. In order to correct this they would have to move the water line and valve that they just installed as part of my whole house repipe. Dan told me he would have to charge another $300+ for that. When I questioned him about it and the line under the sink he got defensive, yelled at me and told me that he wasn't doing any more work for me and told me how all of the problems I was having with the plumbing were not his fault. He talks in circles to try to make his lies seem like truths. Dan Hannegan is unethical and an abusive person. His poor work has cost me time, money and now my brand new kitchen is damaged and unusable. What a nighmare! Update: After I threatened to take Dan to court his son, Kevin came back out and corrected the water leak under my sink. He admitted it was the overflow line from the dishwasher to the sink that wasn't tightened enough. There are still numerous issues with their work. Still a nightmare!
