I appreciated the quick response and the repair of the blower fan on our unit. However, as the daughter of a man who owned his own HVAC company, I was highly disappointed with the depth of service.

Call me old school, but I thought a smaller company would give me more value for my dollar. I'm used to doing what is good for the customer, not milking all you can get out of them. I was wrong, but I guess that's what some think is good business.

I was disappointed that for the amount of money I paid, they didn't also clean the unit as a part of the service. Like I said, I must be old fashion, but next time I'll dig a little deeper to try to find a company that looks out for its customers better.

Do you have a heating, cooling, plumbing or electrical problem? Handyside is a FANTASTIC choice.

I had a bunch of projects around my house and didn't want to wait for my deployed spouse to have to tackle a big ""honey-do"" list when he returns home, or wait for the old, outdated air conditioner/heat pump to die at the worst possible time..so I started calling for estimates.

When I saw great reviews for Handyside, and saw that they cover many different project areas, I scheduled multiple quotes from this company and I'm glad I did.

First step is calling their office, where the customer service is exceptional. They work with your schedule, and set up notifications via cell or email. When an employee is dispatched, you can get a text message or email with a picture of the person, their name and confirmation of the appointment. In a time where people are wearing masks, and you can never be too cautious, the notifications and pictures were appreciated and made me feel safer.

Techs use shoe covers and masks to protect your home, and they clean up after themselves when the work is done.

So far, I have had an outlet replaced, a complete electrical panel replacement, 4 outlets installed, 6 ceiling lights replaced, 2 bedroom ceiling fans installed and a new heat pump/AC installed upstairs. WHEW! I still have a basement HVAC project, and some plumbing work to go, but all in all, the experience has been top notch. There are some very small issues that have come up and Handyside has stood by their work and made it right, and I feel confident they will continue to do so.

Handyside offers financing through Wells Fargo for those who qualify, and depending on the work you are having done, they may get promotional offers for interest rates for you, so make sure to ask what options you may have.

I believe so far I've seen 6 different employees in person with these projects, and every one has been professional, respectful, personable and hard working. I trust this company to get the job done.

From the service technician who presented us with several options to the installers, Handyside was wonderful. We had them replace our old boiler heating system. Their quote was significantly lower than the competition and the two installers were great. They adhered to the COVID rules, worked efficiently and fast and then took the time to explain everything to us. They are our "" go to"" company for all our future plumbing and heating needs.

I heard that Handyside charges a 49.00 fee just to come to your home and it is not included in your final cost. Has anyone experienced this fee??

The cold water in our shower wouldn't shut off and after trying to fix it ourselves, we called Handyside to come and take a look. After giving us all the options of what we could do, we decided it would be best to replace our (apparently very old) pipes. Not only did they fix the pipes, they added a rear panel so that we could easily access our pipes in the future, gave us two new shut-off valves (our shower didn't have one - we had to shut off the main water supply), replaced our showerhead, and put everything back together and cleaned up. The previous quote we received just to work on the pipes was almost twice what they charged us FOR EVERYTHING. The service was excellent, and the price made it that much better. I will be calling Handyside from now on for anything I need!

This organization is top notch. Their expertise & customer service are outstanding!! Our hot water heater started to leak just days before a home inspection for settlement on the property. The technicians at Handyside helped get a new one installed in time to save the day. So grateful!

I had Hanyside install a complete heat pump system.This included all of the ductwork and finishing of the holes that had to be cut into the walls for the air distribution system. The work that they had done was very professional and complete. I would get them to return and do some more work on my house when I need it.

I had a drain pipe under the concrete slab in a basement apartment rust out. Another contractor gave me a price of nearly $10,000 to break up the concrete across entire width of the apartment, replace the pipe and put everything back together. Handyside was able to install a new drain line behind kitchen cabinets and run it out to the main at a 1/4 of the cost. I appreciated that.
