Really was hoping to leave a positive review for these guys as Zeek was so nice and came out 2/23 - just 2 days after I called in for an appt. Zeek let me know I would be hearing from Billy for the quote so I texted Billy my info and he confirmed received. Easy!

Or NOT...6 days later it's now 2/28 and still no email. So, I texted Billy- got no response.

Come 3/3 I called and texted but this time Billy responded stating it should have been received but he will resend. Odd, cause I'm not having any issues with other email coming thru. However, I understand things come up and am still looking forward to finally receiving the quote that same day seeing as it's just going to take a simple push of a button to resend.

3/6- no quote yet. Super bummed. Called again and was told it will be send now. Great. Finally received quote from the appt on 2/23. I had 1 small request to break out the price between 2 bathrooms that the paint quote was on. No biggie, Billy said he'd have that to me later that day. Awesome!

3/13- Still no price breakdown... Starting to have flashbacks so I shoot Billy a text... no response.

3/14- Text Billy again for quick price breakdown just via text if possible, forget email... And he responded- 'sorry sick in bed will send ASAP'

3/20- Not surprising, nothing yet. Moving onto Casa Painting who is super responsive and on top of things.

A bit disappointed with my experience, but all in all more of a waste in time and energy than anything else. Tomorrow marks 1 month since I began my experience with Handyman Twins and I couldn't even get the quote I needed.

Thank Goodness for YELP - because I found the Handyman Twins through YELP and I have to give back by telling fellow yelpers why you should hire these guys right away and you don't need to look any further. These guys are reliable, affordable, and experts at what they do. They handle big projects and small projects and do a good job at both. MOST importantly, they are HONEST which I have learned (as detailed below) is tough to come by. They are very clear with their estimates and there was absolutely no ""switch and bait"" tactics. They are hard workers, they get down and dirty and do some of the work themselves but also manage a significant sized crew. Their crew is also amazing - they must handpick them and care about quality control (I think that is their number one priority).

They are actual twins and they operate a business which is the perfect blend of ""family-owned"" and ""corporate"". [Sidenote: Their dad, Zeek, is the best and I can't believe how cool and hardworking this whole family is.] They care bout their reputation like most family owned businesses do but they can also manage a crew and do remodels/extensions/etc and have a big operation going. They do big projects and small projects and wow do they do BOTH exceptionally well. This was extremely rare when I was looking for contractors who would either just do small things (like change lightbulbs and hang paintings) or just big things (like we need to change your entire door and can't help you patch it up). So if you have several projects that range in difficulty and size, these guys are the perfect people to call.

I became a new homeowner in March of 2016. The inspector told me that I had wood rot in my french backdoors and I would need to ""eventually"" get rid of them before it spread and before the winter. Having factored in the cost of fixing those doors, I asked a friend of a friend of a friend who was supposedly a great contractor to come by and give me price quotes. Long story short, I jumped in too quickly and got taken advantage of because the contractor I hired completely screwed up my doors, dug out the wood rot, our relationship went sour when he billed us 4 times the amount he had quoted us, and I was left with a broken door with uneven doors, carved out wood, and patches with no paint. The door looked so much worse than when I moved into the house and I was heartbroken. I went searching for some contractors to give me price quotes and when I contacted the Handyman Twins, they gave me a ""middle of the range"" quote, but I quickly realized I didn't have the money to fix my broken doors because paying the first scummy contractor had wiped us out. Fast Forward 8 months, I had done a patch job myself and installed weather stripping from home depot, and pretty much screwed up the doors as good as anyone could screw it up. I reached out to the Handyman Twins who with no judgment at all gave me a good price quote, fit me into his schedule at a time most convenient for me and my work schedule, and got to work. The experience was completely different this time around. I had them fix both my back door and my front door and even put up a medicine cabinet mirror for my guest bathroom. They were super down to earth and personable but also tried and true workers (my husband commented on how they wore brands that contractors typically wear which doesn't mean anything to me but he seemed comforted by it). They told me stories of how they've literally built kitchen islands from scratch during a remodel and showed me pictures to prove it. They clearly enjoy their craft which is what makes them so great to work with.

Long story longer - hire these guys if you are looking for reliable, honest, hard working, good quality work at competitive prices.

This is my third time hiring Handyman twins. These guys are really just pros. Their quote is competitive, they answer calls promptly, and they are just super reliable. This time I'm getting a dry wall on the ceiling redone because of leaky roof during this crazy Pineapple Express season. They were able to put all the work into a 2-day time window because they know I was going to be out of town on the third day. They showed up on time, prepared, and as nice as before.
Again, highly recommend. I will hire them again in the future for hard wood floor I'm planning to do. Guys, you will not regret contacting them.

Awesome job done! I hired Billy for some damages in my apartment and he showed up wth an elder man who he said taught him the trade because his brother was unavailable. They were both very professional and kind. I'm a girl and don't know anything about home repair and they really helped me out with everything I needed. We went to Home Depot together and they picked out everything I needed. They also gave me the best deal out of all the others I requested quotes for. By the time they were done everything was perfect and looked like new. Overall, I would definitely hire them again and recommend them.

If you're looking to hire quality, friendly, and most importantly trustworthy handymen, stop comparing reviews because you've just found what you're looking for.

Billy and Sam are well-versed gentleman who know their way around electrical, plumbing, painting, window repairs... I could go on for days but you get the point.

In summary, if you're looking for someone you can trust not just in value of work, but quality as people, I highly recommend the Handyman Twins.

Really great experience with Billy and the team at Handyman Twins. Came over within a day, gave me estimate, and showed up when they said they would. Personable, professional, and provided exceptional work. The projects I needed to have done weren't complicated (changing ceiling light fixtures, wall mount TVs, etc...) but they were something I wasn't skilled at doing but Billy did them effortlessly. I highly recommend Handyman Twins and will be using them again.
