Robert was called to assist my 87 year old Mother with some handyman tasks, i.e.replacing light bulbs in 10 foot ceilings, fixing dishwasher air gap, replacing parts in the bathroom sink, etc.

He arrived earlier than promised, promptly took an inventory of what was needed to do the jobs, went out and got the parts and did all of the tasks in two hours. My Mother was completely satisfied and so was I!

I also have to agree with others who have commented on Robert's responsiveness. I sent him an email and within 30 minutes he responded! I would definitely recommend him for your handyman jobs.

I requested a quote yesterday, and Robert immediately responded. I assumed that because of the holiday, he wouldn't be able to come out to the house before next week, but he showed up this morning and did the job quickly and professionally! This is the second time I have called on Robert for his services. My medicine cabinet had been installed by an incompetent handyman six months prior and had become dismounted from the wall. Robert pointed out all of the inadequacies of the initial installation and quickly remedied the problem. He then had me test the sturdiness of his work by trying to dismount the medicine cabinet, and needless to say it was completely secure. The landlord then had him check all of our ceiling fans, which had been installed by the same inept handyman that was responsible for the medicine cabinet. Sure enough, each of them had loose and/or missing screws, and Robert diligently pointed out the weaknesses of each installation and explained what needed to be done. After he fixed each one, he tested the fans to show me how securely they were installed, and the difference was demonstrable. Robert never fails to provide high quality services, not only in terms of his handy work, but also in terms of his honesty and transparency with his process. I highly recommend him to anyone needing handy work, and will surely continue to call him for any future home repair needs.

I called Robert about our new gas range stove, which was delivered and installed by Home Depot, but our gas valve was OLD and needed to be replaced. He answered my call and was at my home within an hour, quickly diagnosed the issue, went out and bought the new valve, and replaced it right away. I have been a local home owner with an older house. Over the past 18 years I have hired my share of handy man help. A good and reliable handyman is hard to find. I would estimate that 75% of the time I have been disappointed with the work or the handyman himself. In our area too many of the handyman professionals do only OK work and are NOT professional. The ease of starting this type of work pulls in many people with little skills and or substance addictions.
Handyman Today (Robert) is a rare local find. Completely professional, polite, detailed and responsive. His rate was a little higher than the bottom of the barrell fees but not over the top. I usually in the end pay more when I use a low fee handyman because the work has to be done twice to get it right. I recommend Handyman Today and without a doubt will call him again. Erik - Ventura
