Ricardo was easy to schedule an appointment with, and was very fair in his pricing. He called to say that he was stuck in traffic the morning of, which I truly appreciated because I had taken off work. You could tell that he takes pride in his work and he is extremely respectful of your home. He took the time to understand the repair that needed to be done, and did not just rush through it to get into the next client.

I would definitely recommend him to a friend, and hire him for my next home repair!

Handyman Services did a fantastic job repainting my apartment, which required a few different colors. Ricardo was really responsive to my inquiries. The price offered was the most fair among the several services that we interviewed. The workers took great care with the paint job--not a drop of paint on the floors or carpet, furnitures returned to exactly their original place, and the paint job immaculate. Definitely highly recommend.

Ricardo and Rosana did a great job with drywall repair from some rain damage, treating for mold, and repainting the area. When I didn't have the right paint color for ceiling, they took a piece of the old drywall and got a match at the local paint store.

They were both very friendly and attentive to our needs. They were thorough, took time to put up plastic sheets to ensure that no dust got around to other areas, and cleaned up well afterwards.

The price seemed a little expensive, but I'm not a contractor so I really have no basis for comparison, and the job was definitely good.

I'm a little shocked as to how good Handyman Services are. I used them to repair some drywall. The whole process was effortless, the end result is great, and I could see they took pains to clean up afterwards. Highly recommended!

Ricardo and his team were fantastic. He provided a timely written estimate and followed through on communication. I used his painting services on two occasions for the interior of a row house. He repaired the walls, prepped them, and painted quickly and with excellent quality. Would use a third time if needed. Further, he and his team are wonderful to have in your home. Spoke to someone on the phone last weekend but no one ever called back. Their website says they do work in Alexandria but the guy on the phone said they might not cover my area because I am too close to Springfield. Said he would talk to his boss about it and never heard back. So I my rating them on customer service since never had any work done.

I was stressed about my condo, because I had just replaced the AC unit in the ceiling, and the AC company did not do drywall repair, so now I had a big scary hole above my head, and an unmuffled AC motor drowning out conversation.

I now know why Ricardo has many 5 star ratings.

He came by within a day of my call, listened patiently to my needs and demands (I was stressed and pushy, and he calmly helped me set proper expectations.) He had his estimate to me the day he promised, and he then was able to work with my schedule to get the job done, ahead of exceptions. (Sooner than I expected, and with less disruption to my life.)

I have a sneaky suspicion that Ricardo has figured out the secret to being a great businessman - under-promise and over-deliver - and I am glad, and would recommend him to anyone for jobs like this.
