My career started in tech services back in 2000, and I branched out into handyman tasks starting in 2015. Dissatisfied with the quality and pricing of contractors, I opted to handle repairs myself. Matthew W.We put out a Yelp quote for hanging 2 ceiling fans, installing 4 GCFI outlets and 4 ceiling-mounted lights 20 feet high, and given many cancellations and rejections, Tom @ Handyman Next Door answered promptly. We spent a bit of time discussing the job, its basic details and cost, and Tom stated he'd complete the job this coming Saturday morning.
Instead, Tom requested to come a day earlier a few hours later, and arrived on Friday, finishing all of the tasks that we'd discussed without issue. We're thankful for his services, expertise and candor, and would readily hire him again and recommend him to Yelpers looking for smaller, punch list-oriented tasks.
