Larry came out to do an initial evaluation on our broken stairs. He was prompt and very friendly/communicative. He explained all of the options very clearly and the pricing was very transparent.

Samuel came and did an amazing job in the stairs. He was prompt, friendly and very communicative about what was going on with the stairs. The stairs look amazing and the craftsmanship was good. He also hauled away the waste as well as some other boxes we had lying around. Overall, would recommend!

We've used Handyman Heroes a few times over the last couple years, and have always had a great experience. Their handymen have been professional, courteous, communicate clearly, and do quality work. Most recently we had a great experience with Brandon, who did lots of odds and ends: replaced a damaged stair tread and stained it to match, repaired some drywall, and replaced an exterior light fixture.

They are quite expensive (although nearly all construction labor is these days...), but you are paying a premium for a smooth experience.

This was my second time working with Handyman Heroes and I had an excellent experience! For starters, setting up the appointments, inspections, and then the actual work days was all done over the phone and email, and everything was very easy.

Brandon was incredibly approachable and professional. He came to investigate and address issues with our patio, bathroom, and garage; through all of the work (a total of 4 days), he clearly explained everything he was doing and went the full mile to do a very thorough job. We appreciated all of his work!

We are currently in the middle of a washer/dryer hookup install project with Handyman Heroes, led by Evelio. We are very pleased with the communication and diligence shown to us in getting our project completed as intended. The quote process was smooth and the team was diligent in thinking through how we might approach the tight space. Evelio has been professional in keeping us up to date every step of the way during construction, he has thoughtfully approached issues as they arise, and made sure the work is completed correctly. Our building is ~100 years old and our condo is on the top floor, so not an easy job to navigate. I'll post an update once the work is complete, along with photos.

Earlier this month, Brandon came to install a garbage disposal. I am new to living in/being steward of a full blown house, and having the garbage disposal on the fritz left me thinking ""What do I do about this problem?"" Thankfully, the owner of the house recommended Handyman Heroes to me (yes, the owner paid - but they live far away so I use folx they are comfortable with to complete repairs). I submitted an email query and received a response the next business day, and a phone call later we were all set up.

Brandon was punctual. Embarrassingly, Brandon had to deal with gross moldy/standing water that had been in the sink since the disposal went kaput and he did so without even the slightest grimace or expressing any disgust. He had an incredibly proactive approach to it, and was overall very gracious. Brandon was very communicative throughout the process and was very respectful. Every time he had to leave the house to get something from his vehicle he would always knock and wait for me to answer the door.

The entire install was quick, efficient, and my new disposal is working as well as Brandon in.

I would 1000% hire Handyman Heroes again for any needs, and will recommend them to anyone who has a repair need.

Handyman Heroes are truly life savers - thank you, Francisco and Ronnie! We have a tight laundry closet with a complicated setup, and our washer/dryer wasn't fitting properly after some recent plumbing work had been done. We had several contractors come out to see what could be done to better position our dryer vent hook-up, and most mentioned it would be too complicated or suggested we get a new machine instead. HH were the first ones to confidently say they could help us, and we couldn't be happier we found them. They were able to come out just days after our estimate, built us a custom dryer box solution for our small wall space, patched back up the room, and cleaned up afterwards, all within one day! Francisco and Ronnie were wonderful to work with, and we're so grateful to have a working laundry machine again!

I appreciate Handyman Heroes, they are an open, honest, and upfront business. We had a dead bolt installed in a door. Larry conducted the initial assessment and was super helpful and friendly; Samuel, our technician, was prompt, a good listener, offered suggestions, a thoroughly skilled carpenter, and when a small issue unfolded, he took full responsibility and immediately corrected the matter; and when I spoke to the company about a minor demur, Miguel genuinely cared about what I was saying and made the appropriate adjustments. Samuel and Francisco completely restored our bathroom and hallway after a roof leak, and went out of their way to make sure we were completely happy with the work. They were super friendly and easy to work with, and even fixed additional unrelated issues they saw along the way! We also have appreciated the ease of scheduling and coordinating with HH -- the service is very predictable and reliable. We'll be using HH again!
