Company Overview
My dad always emphasized that if you’re going to tackle a task, do it right the first time to avoid doing it again; we assure you that if something goes awry with our work, we’ll come back and fix it free of charge. At 75 years old, my dad, a Vietnam veteran, is still full of energy and never slows down! I’m not sure if it’s a trait passed down through generations, but he can repair just about anything. Last year, he retired, and I took over the business, utilizing the knowledge he passed down to me. I’m Daulton, a recent UCLA graduate, and I’ve been picking up handyman skills from my dad since I could barely walk. My father encouraged me to be hands-on around the house from an early age. Life unfolds in unexpected ways; I attended UCLA, he retired, and I moved back home, leading to the birth of this business idea. We collaborated for a few years, he retired, and now I’m at the helm. This venture allows us to help others, support one another, and make a living. As a grandfather, veteran, husband, and long-time Mira Loma resident for 36 years, I take pride in my roots. I’ve witnessed significant changes in the area over the years and have engaged in many different endeavors. Before retiring, I drove nine-axle big rigs, a skill I honed during my time in Vietnam, where I earned a Purple Heart after two tours. Since childhood, I’ve enjoyed tinkering with various things. I remember rebuilding my first carburetor at the age of 12. I’ve always been a hands-on person and have gained a wealth of knowledge from countless projects over the years. I aimed for my children to be handy, so I showed them how to install sinks, remodel bathrooms, and repair cars early on. I take pride in my son Daulton for coming up with this fantastic idea to use our skills to serve the community we cherish and strengthen our bond as father and son.
