I would highly recommend Mark for any job large or small. He showed up promptly and removed my old security screen and removed my old front door and installed the new door. He does Amazing work!!!! Give him a call he is very reasonable and honest which is hard to find these days. I would call him for more improvements.

HomeDepot suggested this guy. We needed a room air-conditioner installed. What a joke!! He didn't bring the proper tools. The job could have been done better by a 10 year old. He broke the blinds and took the screen. It wasn't a full hour and he charged $165. It's sad to know this guy. Very poor business skills.

He has a quote printed on his business card that reads, ""the bitterness of poor quality reaminas (remains is spelt incorrectly) long after the sweetness of savings is forgotten"". He is pretty much saying he provides poor quality workmanship and it's his forte.

I do NOT recommend him.

We met a few weeks ago and I outlined many jobs to be done around my house the first being Facia board repair. We spend probably 45 min to an hour discussing different jobs to be done and that I was looking for a reliable long term relationship with a good handyman. Mark was a real nice guy and I could see being friends with him. He quoted me a price for the Facia board repair, ""which was much higher than a couple others,"" and a couple days later asked him if he could price out the estimate so I could see how he broke it down. That was April 2nd. He responded that he was extremely busy all week and that he'd try to get something out by the weekend. ""To me it would take 15 minutes to quote.""

I never heard from him over the weekend so I sent another message on April 9th and he responded with a second quote that day $200 higher than the first. When I said I was confused he said it was on old text he accidentally sent and would get back to me that evening.

He responded that night saying he wasn't going to be able to send a breakdown as it was to much work, sorry he couldn't help me...

My beef is if someone is too busy with all this other work, don't waste my time waiting for you to respond only to be blown off..

Scheduled a week in advance; he confirmed the day before so I took the day off from my job to meet him; and he canceled with 90 minutes notice, saying that he felt sick.

When I feel sick... I still go to work. Showing up is the most important part.

My mom's side garage door was broken, and Ace Hardware recommended Mark. It was Friday about 4:00, I was calling from out of town, Mark quickly returned my call and had the door mended within an hour. It doesn't get any better than that. Thank you, Mark!

Mark and I spoke regarding the installation of a wall-unit A/C as a referral from Home Depot. He was prompt in getting back to me and we discussed the installation of my unit in detail with him outlining a price and what it included. I told him that I was expecting 2 other call backs, but that I would get back to him regardless.

Of the 3 handymen I called, I felt most comfortable with Mark and his process. His price was higher than the other two handymen, but I believed it was fair and well deserved for the quality of work we discussed. He was super competent and I appreciated his 'measure twice: saw once' approach. I even asked if he performed cabinetry jobs for another property or mine because I was satisfied that he was thorough and effective.

As promised, I called him back in 48 hours. He asked me to recap the scope of work and price discussed in an email. I provided him the exact points of discussion we had just 2 days prior with a couple extra notes of assumptions pertaining to quality of work that we had not discussed (i.e. modifications to the scope of work are not accepted until I acknowledge, exhaust should not run back into the house, condensation should not drip into the walls, etc...)

I received an email back saying he was sorry, but that he had to decline as the price was too low for the amount of work involved. He hoped I understood.

Fact is that I didn't understand. He set the price and the procedure. I simply parroted it back to him in writing. I asked him what changed from our previous conversation in both a VM message and email. To which he replied to neither.

Highly unprofessional. He set the terms then wanted to renegotiate them. Though, to be honest, the most frustrating part of the experience is that I thought I had found a diamond in the rough with handymen. Now I have to weed back through the dregs to find someone who simply will do the job adequately.

First of all, I'm a disabled veteran. In my brief experience with Mark during the quote/estimate process, for the fence post repair work that needed to be done, I highly recommend him for handyman services. Bear in mind, I had a family friend perform the work. However, Mark came out on short notice to estimate the work that needed to be done. He was friendly, professional, and seemed very knowledgeable. His schedule was flexible to perform the work in a very timely manner, being that it was an urgent repair. He gave me a fair and reasonable estimate, and specifically stated he will not increase the price of the job if any unforeseen problems came up with the fence posts needing to be replaced. I will certainly call him to perform any future handyman work that may be needed.

BTW, Alex Nolin Construction came out for an estimate as well and quoted me for 3x the cost of Mark's estimate. Shame on them! I'd be highly wary of them!!! Thanks Mark!!

Mark has been one of the most responsive and knowledgeable contractors I have worked with. He came out on short notice and to help us with drywall patching, and we couldn't have asked for a better person. One can tell Mark takes great care and pride in his work, from setting up and protecting the work space, to clean up, and patient answering of all our questions. Great pricing, and honest work; there's not more one can ask for!
