Do yourself a favor and just start by calling Dan! Before I found Dan, I spent all day calling other handymen who were either non-responsive, not interested, or simply rude. Dan actually answered his phone. He was able to meet with me within 24 hours even though I didn't have the biggest job in the world. He communicated what he would need to complete the job, showed up on time, and exceeded my expectations with the work done. I will absolutely be using Dan for future work on my home or rental property!

Called Dan last week and I now have a new toilet. So glad to have found him at Next door app. He's easy to schedule, polite, and very flexible. He even picked up the toilet we chose at Home Depot for us. These days, it's really hard to find contractors that work for you. I'll for sure will call him again.

Handyman Dan is worth more stars than I can give!

I had a problem on a Friday, and every handyman I called was too busy to come out, until I called Dan. He was there within 15 minutes, identified the problem and then fixed it in a small amount of time. While there I asked him about a different problem and within minutes he had found a solution. He's definitely going to be my go-to guy from now on!

Friendly, fast, and reliable, if you're on the fence about hiring Dan, you should!

Just hired Dan's company again! This time it was to remove a sink, install a new one, install faucet, replace old broken drain system under sink, and install garbage disposal. Dan is so busy he has had to hire guys to help him out.

I prepared the area, pre-purchased all the materials and supplies a head of time for the crew. Joshua, working for Dan, came out early to the appointment and got right to work. A few hours later, and everything was complete and working. Joshua kept a clean space, and cleaned up everything before leaving, and answered any questions I had This is my second time hiring then, and will again. Have lots of projects dialed up for Dan and his new crew!

Dan is an exceptional handyman who gets the job done right. He told me that he could build a house from the ground up, and I believe him. He really knows his stuff. He has impressed me time and again with his extensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and related property maintenance issues. And it gets better: his rates are more than reasonable in my opinion.

I've seen some reviews stating that Dan has been slow to respond to requests for help. I think those Yelpers would be pleasantly surprised if they gave Dan another chance. I work with lots of handymen, and Dan is one of the few who goes the extra mile to make the customer happy. I know he juggles a lot of calls, but that's because he's great at what he does.

I've been a property manager for 20 years, so I've had a lot of experiences with handymen. I used Dan for the first time on my personal home this month. I'm doing some remodeling, so I hired him to install a sink, a couple of faucets, replace some light fixtures, repair my dishwasher, fix some drywall damage, etc. Dan is great to interact with. He's well spoken and professional. Very organized and focused, so he works fast. The problem with a lot of good handymen is that their customer service sucks, so it's a trade off-- deal with a jerk because he knows his stuff. Dan isn't like that at all. He's got a ton of experience and his work shows it, but he is also pleasantly easy to deal with. I can see why he books two weeks out. He's worth the wait.

I was recommended to Dan by a family friend. Dan was so kind and most importantly thorough. I never felt he was taking advantage of me. I found my handyman. I love that he is a veteran too.

I got ghosted.

I called first to see if a small job was something he'd be interested and able to help with. He said yes. After sending him some pictures of the problem area I never heard back. I tried texting a couple more times before giving up.

I wouldn't mind him turning down the job, but getting ghosted is a waste of my time.

I will definitely be using Dan again for any home repairs! He was kind and honest. What I thought was going to be be an expensive garbage disposal replacement turned out to be a simple adjustment that he gladly made and even showed me how to do it myself if it ever happens again. He was very responsive to my initial request for service and communicated with me professionally and efficiently. All in all, a great experience that I am very appreciative for!
