started this project in march & i'm STILL waiting for them to finish it,horrible job so far!!!!erosion of the concrete already & completely wrong type of roof!!!inside walls totally bare (just wood!!!) & some places not even caulked.on top of all this the communication is HORRIBLE,if i don't keep reaching out,i'de be left hanging,which i basically have been ANYWAYS!!!!& all i get are excuse after excuse!!!!on top of all this they put up the new enclosure w/o permits!!!!& then tried to blame it on me!!!when you HIRE a COMPANY to do a JOB,it should be a given that they're gonna do it correctly & legally,which means permits come first!!!!now here it is Aug.,i'm i'm STILL waiting for something to get accomplished.i'm no longer reaching out as i work 60 hrs./week & don't have time for this bs!!!!i'm finding this company on other sites w/other bad reviews as well,not surprised!!!

I'm not exactly sure what happened. About 2 weeks ago I contacted Handyman Connection Regarding a soffit repair job at a house I own in Orlando. Within 24 hours, an appointment was scheduled And within 2 days someone was at my home to inspect and provide an estimate. Very Professional, up to that point. The handyman said he would send me an estimate that evening But also wanted to check the area with a moisture meter to make sure there were no leaks. That basically ended the communication from Handyman Connection. No estimate, no nothing. He never returned with his moisture meter. I reached out to them Via text, phone and E mail a number of times. Had an occasional response that said they were waiting on paperwork. It has now been two weeks and I have to move on. It started out very professional and then, poof........gone. I've never experienced anything like this before.

They were nice people but imo they do not tell the truthbut one of their craftsman quoted me a price to fix several things on my deck. I was getting several estimates so I call handyman connection. I called them to say I accept the offer and they scheduled a date a month away on April 25. On April 24, to they called me me or and said t go at my to ber craftsman that g as ve m we to be e to estimate Ed hurt his bac KK and t go ey will send Bryan. Bryan came by measured and said I will be back as he was going to home Depot. One hour passes, two hours passes, three hours passes. I remember thinking """"did Bryan die or have a car accident?"""" Moments later I received a text from the handyman connection saying that Bryan had to rush to the hospital for a friend who is dieing of cancer. That sucks. The office called and said they will send Carlos out on Wednesday 4/27. So I met with Carlos from handyman connection. Carlos said that the original guy that gave me the estimate always undercuts himself by charging less than what is necessary and Carlos said I will send the estimate to the office but it will be much more than this bid. The original bid was 970.00 the new estimate for the same work $2500.00. Carlos said I am sorry that the other guy bryan did not want to do the job. In other words Bryan wasn't visiting a friend with cancer on his deathbed. In fact the original person that hurt his back? That's doubtful.

Can't say enough about the service. Hector was on time, gave us a good estimate and completed the job all in one day. Would recommend him for any of your handyman jobs.

Hired a handyman/carpenter from this team to rework some damage and work from another handyman, left in my house. Sterling did an excellent job repairing the damage. Even fixed a closet door not fixed correctly by the prior handyman. He was courteous, efficient and very knowledgeable. Would bring him back anytime.

Brian is a top notch in this town for Handyman Connection. Brian is genuine, honest and he knows the job also...Only there is no miltiiary discounts:) Yesterday we had a great experience with Sterling carlton. Sterling was punctual and he did come on time on a Saturday. He was sharp, Prior to his coming, he also informed, he is on the way. He knew his job well and he also advised on few things about some new projects, which we can give to Brian and his company. Sterling is a nice person, most knowledgeable in Brian's Organization, he knows the job well. Please pass on my sincere thanks to him for the good job done on February 10th 2024 - Saturday.. ew others to mention : John and Ben -family appreciates their honesty, good work ethic-do not waste time nor sit and talk or so -highly professional. I hired this company to remove a fire pit and fill with the pavers from the fire pit. The employee sent to my home to do the job did not have knowledge and skill in masonry or hardscaping and ended up damaging my patio. He even brought a wood saw to cut concrete pavers and ended up breaking the saw. My patio was left with lots of broken pavers and a hole in the middle. The company doesn't have anybody who has the expertise to repair the damage so a third party has to be hired to do it. The owner, Brien Borden, has kept stalling the process of getting the repair done for almost 3 months. I have spent a lot of time trying to make him take the responsibility for the repair of the damage caused by his company but after almost 3 months, my patio is still in chaos. I spent a lot of time calling several paver companies for estimates as he kept saying that paver companies were all very busy and they were unavailable. However, every single company I called were available to come to my house and give me estimates within a day or two. The damage left in my patio could cause serious injury. This company doesn't have employees with capacity to give you the service they claim to do so well. In addition to that, the owner doesn't have honesty and professionalism. He has a very bad attitude.

We used Handyman Connection for a portion of our kitchen renovation. A Monday morning no show got our project off to a Rocky start. But the company stepped up, sending Red Winderweedle. He stepped into the project, keeping us on time and doing great work.

I'm so glad I found Handyman Connection! We received bids from a few different contractors to renovate the bathroom in our master, and made the decision to give Handyman Connection the job. The office staff was very nice and our handyman John was great to deal with. Not only was the finished product beautiful, but the project was completed before the original timeframe given! John even made a few suggestions on different ways to make our ideas work. He is very knowledgeable. I will definitely be recommending Handyman Connection to everyone I know.
