The focus was on delivering services for small to medium projects that were typically too insignificant for general contractors. The demand for these services was substantial, resulting in franchising and growth throughout the US and Canada. After more than 25 years, Handyman Connection has assisted countless homeowners. Illean joined the Handyman Connection corporate team in Cincinnati in 2000 after spending 18 years with Hallmark Cards away from her hometown. She served as a trainer and advisor for new franchisees. In 2008, she acquired her own franchise, serving Butler County, Mason, and Kings Mills.

John K.Called this company on a Tuesday and spoke with a gentleman and got an appointment for the coming Friday to get an estimate for a staining job. In fact, he mentioned that the person coming out could start right away. On Thursday, less than 24 hours before my appointment, a lady calls to tell me that they don't have anyone to send over. They went from getting the job done right away to not having anybody to even provide an estimate. I had from another neighbor about them canceling, but thought because of the good reviews to give them a try. Lesson learned. Go with the advice of people that you know.

Illean responded to my email inquiry for an estimate the same day and within five days, Mike was onsite to do the work. Mike's craftsmanship and professionalism was high quality.
