My husband and I had just purchased a new home but needed an additional room constructed in the garage since we have 4 kids and were downsizing. I reached out to several businesses, but these guys responded quickly. They built the room in 3 days and included more than I initially expected, Outlets, dimming lights in the ceiling, texturing, and a nice paint job - all for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them for any construction needs!

Hired them to paint a small area of ceiling. First they told me they would do the job when we were gone on vacation but they forgot that I told them the key was under the mat. They told me it would be a one day job and showed up at 12:30. At that point one guy did sloppy work and got white paint all over the dark ceiling beams. They wanted to work though the evening in my living room and I pulled the plug. Terrible experience.

We have a set of pocket doors that are more than 100 years old. One of the doors was jammed in the pocket thanks to my decidedly spirited children. Handy Plus sent out Oscar to troubleshoot the problem and make the repair. Communication with Handy Plus Owner Joseph was seamless, the cost was reasonable, and the work Oscar did was fantastic. The repair was made and the area was perfectly cleaned after. I highly recommend working with Handy Plus and will surely be working with them again in the future.

I needed roof debris removed and a carport support reconnected. The workers arrived when they said they would and worked straight through until finished. They cleaned up and left my home repaired and neat. Fair price. I'm satisfied.

Accountability is everything in business. If your customer has a complaint about a job you did it's your job to make sure your customer is always pleased. This is the 2nd time we allowed this company into our home and the first experience was horrible, and they did redeem their selves and the 2nd guy that came was pleasant. We needed an umbrella installed and an over head rack put up so we called them back. They are fast and timely and everyone deserves a second chance. The over head rack was put up with ease. As well as the umbrella, so we thought. He opened the umbrella and showed me all of the things the umbrella can do. With my wife's crazy work schedule we didn't get to enjoy the umbrella until 2 weeks later. The umbrella open, closes, and spins without problem. But there was one problem. Instead of the umbrella locking in place at the base it just spins and spins when it's supposed to lock in place when you get it into position. When we reached out to Joseph he was quick to push blame on us? We explained to him we haven't touched it or used it since installed. We asked if he can come by to fix it so we could use it to its full capacity. He agreed to come but never sent the confirmation. He then just kept harassing my wife with text messages even after she asked him to stop he continued. He said he had his own pictures to prove he did his work correctly but failed to produce the pictures. Claiming my wife was rude from the jump and problematic from the start is false. Joseph just doesn't like being told he did anything wrong. When all you have to do is take accountability for a mistake and make good on that. Unfortunately you can't control the way people view your company as a whole. Should have looked at your previous negative reviews prior to hiring because they were correct. Good luck with business. Unfortunately this is the second time that I've dealt with this company and they've been unprofessional. Shame on me for going back a second time. They are the only company that I've found that can come right away but the service isn't great and the unprofessionalism is definitely unmatched. I called in regarding an assembly that was assembled incorrectly and was met with basically it was my fault and I'd done something to the item since they left. I sent pictures and explained the problem and Joseph found a way to make it my fault evading all responsibility. He was supposed to give me a time to ""come and help me fix it"", not because of an error on their part though, but that never came. Terrible. I would not use this service.
