A few days ago, we noticed a foul sewage-like odor coming up to our 2nd floor bedroom through the air vents. We contacted Handy Plumbing Man through Yelp to request their free consultation and were quickly assigned to work with a gentleman named Mo S. from the company.

Mo came to our house within an hour or so of our getting in touch with Handy Plumbing Man, climbed into our crawl space, and determined that the cause of the foul odor was cracks in our drainage pipes. Due to the cracks, some amount of sewage had already collected on the crawl space floor.

The next morning, his crew arrived at our house and got to work replacing all the broken pipes and cleaning up the sewage immediately. It was a large undertaking, but his crew completed all the work quickly and efficiently. They also helped to sanitize areas of the crawl space that were contaminated with sewage. At the end of the day, as they were testing after all the pipes had been replaced, they found another leak coming from a vertical drainage pipe hidden in the wall. They came back the next morning to diagnose the problem, cut a small hole in the wall to confirm the source of the leak, and replaced the broken vertical pipe. Thanks to their thorough testing, we were able to fix all the leaks, even the ones that we were not initially aware of.

I highly recommend working with Mo and his crew. They are friendly, efficient, transparent in their communication, and professional. Also, their repairs come with a 20-year warranty, so that's super reassuring as well. Thank you again to Mo and his wonderful team!

Mo came out to work on the house's sewer water backup due to a clog. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and fixed our problem quickly. It was not a straight forward fix and required some troubleshooting. He explained everything very clearly. The service was great, the pricing was transparent unlike other companies. Adding a review here for Rafael and Maurice, who helped us with our clogged balcony drains. The first visit was great - the team was able to fully hydro flush out all of our drains (including 4 on the roof!). We noticed a few weeks later that one of the drains seemed to have a clog in it though, and after contacting Handy Plumbing Man they were able to send out a team first thing in the morning to help us out (at no extra charge). Big shout out to Mo Solamero, he was an absolute professional. We had a huge sewer pipe burst in the carport of our condo complex. Mo and his team were out there in less than an hour. They were able to remedy the situation quickly. Of course, the pipe at end of life and need to be completely replace. So, they were able to secure the pipe for the night and Mo and his team were back the next morning at 8:30 replacing the pipe and all of this happen on MLK Day. Great company, great works, and Mo Solamero has great customer service and is a true professional. Handy Plumbing Man has one great employee; take good care of this guy.
