I fully recommend Handy Bay Plumbing. Andres has started the business not too long ago so they have fewer reviews than other companies, but the service and result was excellent and the price competitive.

We had a major leak in our main water line running from the road to the house and had to shut off water at the street. It was the Saturday evening but he got a team out the next day before many of the other companies I called even responded. They came out, gave me the bad news (45 year old PVC pipe leaking somewhere under the long driveway). They went and got hoses etc to get our water back on as a temp solution and Andres called to discuss after he talked to the folks he had on-site. He came out, evaluated the situation, and recommend putting in a new main line to avoid tearing up the driveway looking for the source. We discussed options and he gave a written quote.

Obviously I don't know plumbing so I had a few other plumbers come out to evaluate the situation and give their quotes. They recommended a similar course of action but it was clear from all my discussions that handy bay offered 1) more personalized experience, 2) from Andres, as much ore more experience and explanation to me, 3) a very competitive price.

Andres called me (no pressure) to ask what I wanted to do. We discussed some extras I wanted when we installed the line (an extra tee for sprinklers on the downhill side of the driveway, replacing an external water point that was failing). We agreed to upgrade to copper at a reasonable price.

His team showed up right on time. A big group (7-8) it was clear that they enjoyed working with each other and this company. They had to trench 150 feet plus, cut the driveway, replace the cement, run the lines, test, etc. top quality work, kept me informed, finished on time, cleaned up after like you wouldn't know they had been there.

Classy company, very reasonable prices, upfront, on time, very professional (written contract, 10 year work guarantee). I cannot recommend this company more. This was a major (and expensive) job, and they expecuted to perfection and provided personalized service at a fair price.

Our mainline was blocked due to tree roots intrusion. Andres came at a short notice and worked diligently for hours with a few snaking runs and camera verification to cut through multiple tree root sections and left us in a much happier state knowing that the whole pipe is clear.

Andres was awesome. He answered quickly when we inquired about his services and he quoted a more reasonable price compared to the other guys. We were unable to remove and replace a leaking faucet without causing some damage so we thought we needed a professional. He came and replaced the faucet and also took care of the front yard faucet for an additional fee. All in all he was efficient and we're happy with the job he did. No more leaking. He was also able to provide assistance in removing a broken hose without charge. Thank you so much for the honest work!

The building for my company is a bit older and needs plumbing assistance from time to time. Today, all three of our toilets became clogged and with nearly 40 people working in the building, well, that amounts to an emergency call. I found Handy Bay Plumbing by looking up the closest plumber to our location with the best reviews. I was lucky to get a hold of Andres, the owner, on the first ring. First good thing: you call the business number, it is the owner of the company who answers. He said he was ten minutes away and that he would come by. He arrived in less than 10 and immediately started working on the problem. Now, he was here for at least two hours due to our issues with the building, but managed to get those bowls from no response to a roaring flush. We are thrilled that we were able to get service within ten minutes of the first call and that he did such great work. Once he was done, he cleaned up so thoroughly that you'd never know anyone was here snaking a drain after removing the toilet. Outstanding job! He's a hardworking, honest plumber who is courteous, considerate, and professional. His prices were very fair, considering the time and work he put in to get us right. Andrea quickly responded to my phone call for cleaning our tankless water heater. He arrived on time next day, with a mask and booties to give a quote, very professional and knowledgeable about the new hardware being installed.  His prices were very competitive and he completed the job right then. Andres went above and beyond expectations! He is very honest, knows his profession, and does a great job. I hired him to clear out my sewer drain, and he recommended since I didn't have access to go ahead and replace the toilet since it was old. Well, he found the sewer line was clear and it just needed a new toilet, for it seemed to not flush well, according to my tenants. He also was able to latch and secure my front door, tightened my faucet handle, and remove debri on the side of my house, which was outside the scope of the project. Had a great experience hiring him, and will definitely hire him again when needed.

I needed to replace the faucet on a pedestal sink. Now pedestal sinks are difficult to work on. I had other plumbers who refused to do it, saying they cannot get their tools under the sink due to tight space. When I sent my request along with pictures to Handy Bay, Andres quickly responded with a budget friendly quote. I asked a few more questions via text, which Andres all answered promptly, so I hired him.
When he was on the job, he took down the sink, lay it on cardboard and towel that he prepared, removed old fixtures (which appears stuck on the sink) , clean the surface, put on new fixtures, re-install the sink, and spent a good amount of time checking for leaks. He didn't rush through any of the steps, and did every step very carefully. I can tell he is very skillful when it comes to plumbing, and I appreciate his friendliness as I watched and occasionally chatted with him while he works.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Andres from Handy Bay Plumbing. He even checked in with me the next day to make sure the installation is all good. When's the last time your contractor or trades people follow up with you like that?
