He is careful to limit his work to what he is licensed to do versus causing unexpected problems, which I appreciate.

Michael Z. at Handlify helped me with a outside second-floor deck that was sloping at one corner. Why? I didn't know. What to do about it? I had no idea. I thought, this will be expensive.

Michael was willing to come out to my home in the Santa Cruz mountains to take a look.

He is an affable guy with lots of tools.

He spent the beginning just thinking about it the problem, which is always a good idea. In this way, he arrived at a very clever solution, using only raw materials I had lying around and his car scissor-jack (maybe he gets a hydraulic one for future projects?)

He was able to implement his fix the same day and for only some hours of labor. It is solid and will last many years, I think.
