Friday morning my kitchen and basement were covered in water, to me that was an emergency. After calling multiple different plumbers who didn't availability I finally reached out to Hancock & Son. I'm so glad I did. I spoke with Sharon on the phone and she was very upbeat and personable. With the Covid19 pandemic she asked a lot of questions to ensure both our safety and their employee's safety so I really appreciated that. Daniel was able to come out that afternoon and diagnose the situation. Though the initial problem was solved that day he gave me a couple options to help ensure longer term solutions. He was very informative and helpful. I opted
for one of the long term solutions and Will came out first thing Monday morning. Both Daniel and Will were efficient and friendly. I was very happy with the pricing as well and there were no hidden fees or extra charges. I will definitely be using and recommending this company in the future.

Terrible experience-over charged on installation on water heater since it was an insurance claim, we paid installation $1850.00! Even the tech that came could not believe the charges. Called several times, lady on the phone always said someone would call back, never happened. Paid since we needed hot water. As for a repeat customer, it will not be us!

Hancock and Son is by far the WORST plumbing company I've ever dealt with. I am a professional plumber (in business for 46 years) and was in need of finding a plumber in a location that is beyond my service area. Upon answering the phone, they were very polite and professional, so I decided to go with them. They quoted me prices and I described in detail what I wanted them to do. I also put it in writing to their email, so there would be no mistake, as I could tell the polite lady on the other end of the phone had absolutely NO plumbing experience. I specifically told them not to go in with a small machine to clear a drain line and told them what machine I wanted them to use, but they attempted to cheat the system and clear a main sewer line with a small sink machine. Of course, that didn't work and they needed to go back to the shop for the machine I asked for in the first place. I talked to their mechanic on site and asked him to pull the manholes in front of the job and make sure the city's line was not backed up, to which he told me that they are not allowed to do that. REALLY? So, they finally get the machine that I first asked for and return to the job, only to find they couldn't get it clear. They then pulled the manholes, which they previously said they were not allowed to do and guess what? Yep, the city's sewer was backed up. The city came and cleared the line and Hancock has charged me $575.00 (over and above what they quoted me on the phone). That very polite lady is now not so polite and trips over her own words and quotes when talked to. I would call anyone else before calling on these folks again.
