James with Hampton Plumbing came to my house for a warranty issue and was great. He came out to my house because my kitchen sink backed up into my washing machine. We also had a shower that wasn't getting hot water. He unclogged the pipes and gave me tips on what should and shouldn't go down the disposal and how to clean out the pipes once a month so I could lessen my chances of having to have to call to have it unclogged. He found the shower issue was a simply matter of the setting being wrong. He had thought it might be a regulator going bad, so he had that part with him to fix it as well. He was well prepared with all the parts necessary to fix problems and was very polite and courteous. Would recommend him.

Although we ended up using another company, (we wanted a different brand of water heater), they were very responsive, even after hours, and answered a LOT of questions. The quote we received was one of the cheapest compared to other companies.

No stars really - Home warranty company made us use them. He quoted that the drain couldn't be cleared need to have everything jack hammered out and replaced. I refused requested another company
New company - bad clog but we got it working

Moral of the story. Hamptons is not a trustworthy company to use
They lie and tell you work is needed when it's not. Beware!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They were recommended by our home warranty company. The plummer showed a day late, did not return calls, left without notice, made claims that other issues in the home that would require excessive money and time to fix but the new pluming company advised that there were no other issues. He cut multiple holes in the ceiling to ""find"" the source of the issue but didn't fix anything after a week. No heat or hot water due to this companies incompetence. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I've called on Hampton's Plumbing twice in the last 4-5 years and both experiences were outstanding. The first call was for a garbage disposal which quit working. Another local plumbing company came out and told me that we needed a new garbage disposal (very expensive) so I decided to get a second opinion (and am I ever glad I did!). I called Hampton's who came out (in their big truck), and in less than 5 minutes, unscrewed the wall switch plate and discovered it was simply a loose wire. I offered to pay for the service call but we weren't charged anything! The next time I called was for a malfunctioning toilet. He promptly came out and not only fixed the toilet quickly but also replaced a washer in the leaky shower. Again we weren't charged for this even though I called twice in inquire about the bill and was told that I would get a bill only if he thought it was worth charging for. I meant to post this review much sooner than this, but if you're looking for a quality plumber, I don't think you could find a better one. He also rates A+ from Better Business Bureau.

He will lie to your face and rip you off. when you know he didn't complete the work instead of telling the truth and finishing it he will sue you, he has a long list he sues weekly. Then you will have to spend thousands to have a reputable company come out and redo/finish the work and will end up paying two companies. He counts on your ignorance about plumbing in order to rip you off! BEWARE!!!! CALL A COMPANY YOU CAN TRUST, NOT THIS ONE!
