Hammer began by our founder Doug Hammer. It started as sewer and septic construction. Shortly thereafter, we added pumping services. Over time, Hammer evolved a dedicated pumping company. Doug created Hammer to stand for affordable quality service and a trustworthy, local business.

In the year 2005, Doug decided to step back. Around that time, he encountered Don and Steve, who would become partners. They got along well, and Doug was certain the Holmes brothers would be an excellent fit to lead the business. Following this, we have expanded our services to include comprehensive plumbing. We now provide all plumbing solutions - pumping, sewer work, and complete plumbing services. We strive to uphold and grow our brand as a trusted resource for the Coachella Valley looking for dependable, quality, and affordable plumbing. With hope, we aim to remain a fixture in the community for years to come and are always improving our services.

Steve, along with Don have run Hammer since 2005.

Wow. Glad so many had good results. Sorry to say, it was a bad experience for us. Flip a coin for the DIFFERENCE in who comes to represent Hammer....""F"" for effort. Just didn't have a good experience here. Wouldn't consider calling this company again.

Our Toilet had a mysterious slow leak. We could hear the tank refill every 30 minutes or so, wasting water.
I scheduled them to replace all the tank parts including the Turn-off and Hose.
Ryan showed up on time (including a courtesy call 20 minutes ahead of time).
He replaced all the parts and cleaned up the mess leaving our bathroom spotless.
It has been 2 days since the work and all seems OK.

He came out the same day I called. I main line was clogged. He unclogged quickly and the price was great. And great service. Would definitely call them again. Very happy.

I just drove by one of their trucks, in the Cahuilla Hills, on my way home and it is parked to where the oncoming traffic has to go into my lane, which can cause a head-on collision. So I called the company, in Palm Desert, to inform them and they didn't seem too concerned with the predicament. I even told them that there are plenty of other places their worker could have parked the company truck, that wouldn't be in the way of anyone. Not even an apology was offered. With such poor customer service why would I want to hire them.

I had a leak under the foundation of my kitchen floor. Called Hammer, was told I need to do a $300.00 leak detection. They came two days later and did the detection. I explained our water main was shut off and I was anxious for repair, had to call everyday for five days only to be told it could be another week or two before they could get repair done. I told them I would be contacting another plumber to come ( which I did and repair was done in one day), Hammer called back within the hour of being told I would be contacting someone else and said they would be out the next day....too late! No sense of urgency with this company, terrible customer service.

Upping my review to five stars after watching Carlos bust his butt to dig out, disconnect, replace and reconnect 15 feet of 4 inch sewer pipe to the main line of my mobile home in a 55+ park off Dillon Road

Rewind to June 25th,Carlos arrived mid morning to access a drainage issue. After no luck with the snake, the afternoon camera crew determined it was a collapsed 60 year old pipe. Said the office would write an estimate and submit it to the park office for approval. Estimate took 3 days to receive on the 28th...a bit surprised there. Regional manager approved it the same day and the appointment was scheduled for Saturday June 30th. Nobody came all day. BOO! I'm thinking 2 stars at best for the good service on the 25th Fast forward to July 2nd and the park office calls and says Hammer is on the way YAHOO!

Carlos arrived at 8:45 and by 1PM had dug out and reconnected the line by himself. After a few test flushes and a small load of laundry; things appear good as new. It's 330 PM, he's still at at it...back filling the trench, replacing the my fence slats that separate the neighbors lot where the main line is and cleaning up. 4PM all done. Looks like it never even happened.

Kudos for a great job in 100+ desert sun. I'd welcome Carlos back should I ever have a plumbing issue inside my home.

Lucky you if you've had good results with Hammer Plumbing! Here it is 4am and I am hoping there was enough rain last night to show the REAL source of a leak into my neighbor's condo. After repeated calls to them to question their faulty report (sighting my shower as the cause) still no help. Oh, they're nice on the phone, but it gets you nowhere. My downstairs neighbor had enough water to fill up her ceiling light while she was gone in January and since that it's been dry. She did not want her ceiling cut into and then conveniently left for another 3wks so Hammer looked at the 3 units around her. I am not even above her! After looking everywhere else, they tested by forcing water around my shower valve to produce enough of a leak to barely wet the tip of your finger when reaching up in the wall and then claimed my shower pan is leaking!
PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
I have tried to reason with them and Whitestar Management. It's going on a month now, everything dry, and I am continuing to use my shower daily. This isn't rocket science.
Beware of Hammer Plumbing!

We recently bought a home in Bermuda Dunes and finally had our first rain a few weeks ago. Our pool deck drainage had clogged and presented a major problem. I've used Hammer in the past and although a bit expensive they get the job done! As far as this project they didn't disappoint. Mark and Jose assessed the damage on Friday afternoon and Carlos completed the project on Monday morning. They were all professional and patient in detecting the problem and fixing the problem. Carlos did the heavy work on Monday by digging a trench to connect the new pipe from the pool deck 30 feet to the retaining wall. Hoping I don't have any further needs but if so Hammer Plumbing is who I would use!

Called and said I may have a leak under sink. They sent a guy and he said it looks dry to me. I said aren't you going to do leak detecting and he said I don't have the machine. It was lack of communication and I need to pay him 98.00 now and make an appt with leak detectors for 250.oo first hour. what a RIP off.

When I returned to Palm Desert after being absent for several months,
I was upset to find plumbing problems which seemed unsurmountable
and costly. I called Randy at Hammer who had
a man come to detect
a gas leak. Then I was given an estimate and we went ahead to install
a new gas line. The job was done in 2 days. The men who did the job
were super professional and friendly. Not only was the job done
quickly but Randy then charged me several hundred dollars below the
estimate. I would recommend Hammer for your plumbinng problems
because no other company could have satisfied me more.
P.S. The men left the particukar area spotless, looking as if nothing
had happened. Kudos to Robert and Mark and especially Randy.
Aother fine worker was Juan , a young man who did a fine job
clearing the sewer line.
