Air conditioner not working.Hamilton's technician said High Pressure switch was bad.Said system had a leak ,would need to find and repair.System would need recharged. Estimated cost would be $7000 to $8000.Had other person look at system.High Pressure switch not bad.He found and repaired leak and recharged system. Also found missing wire at electrical panel, not broken, not unpluged, missing.Hamilton's person only one that had access.Other person's charge for all repairs and recharging $1600. Would never use or reckomend Hamilton. David Sayre

Extremely expensive/overpriced. Had them at our house to replace a spigot that had burst, the plumber arrived on time and was very pleasant, however got priced around $935 to replace a spigot. Which is EXTREMELY high for the 45 minutes it took to replace.
I would suggest getting multiple quotes if you have the option, otherwise they appear to be more than happy to spike pricing.

Scammers. They talk you into a what seems to be a cheap maintenance program then constantly hound you to do other inspections so they can charge you out the nose. They tried to charge me $450 to replace 3 electrical outlets! NOPE. I have received 5 calls in the last week about setting up my appt for my HVAC inspection. Their voicemail message starts out like this: ""This is Bob Hamilton, and we don't mean to be a bother, but it's time for your blaa blaa blaaa inspection."" Yes, you do mean to be a bother....IF I WANTED IT DONE, I WOULD CALL YOU! Ugh! I will never call on them again!

I had over $17000 work performed Thanksgiving week 2023. A Halo 5 water filter as well as a Grundfos Scala2 water booster pump. Two days following installation of the Scala 2 it failed. When the installer returned to address the failure I made him watch a Grundfos installation video. The video clearly suggests using 2 foot long flexible tubing to connect the input and output fittings. It states ""no right angle fittings within 2 feet of the input, stating it will cause instability and premature failure. It also says to NOT APPLY PIPE DOPE TO THE PLASTIC THREADS as it with soften the threads causing premature leaks. When the plumber left he agreed to replace the pump and reinstall a new pump per manufacturers recommendations.
The plumber never returned. No replies to my texts. I called Hamilton last week to request a refund and was told a manager would call me back. Never happened.
I also called the Halo filter company and they informed me that Hamilton never activated my 10 year warranty on that unit.
I have repeatedly requested a detailed since I only received a vague receipt following installation via email. 6100 for a premium pro filter, which doesn't exist. It's a Halo 5 water filter. The rest of the money is billed as CUSTOM PLUMBING. No detail about the pressure pump nor any of the other items installed. How can any company operate like this? Seriously.
They don't follow up on repairs nor provide receipts detailing work performed.
So I've just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to see if they can facilitate this issue. Hamilton should be ashamed of how they operate. Shameful.

Hamilton refused to honor its coupon for a $99 main drain line cleaning where the fine print said ""***Proper cleanout access required..."" and the mainline cleanout access was inside the house. It said a ""proper cleanout access"" means outside the house. I think that is nonsense. But, easy enough to say we don't want customers whose plumbing is not in the garden.

This company is very unprofessiona. A serviceman came said the furnace was running but he needed to come back later to do the repai. he never came back and when they were called said they tried to call 8 time, a lie, and couldn't come back un the next da.

HORRIBLE! AVOID!! The worst experience. Their prices are gouged beyond double what the competition is (estimates available for proof). Never completed the jobs they were hired for and left with an exorbitant bill with issues that still remain. They were hired to replace my entire sewer mainline from my clean-out to the city tap. After the work was said and done, I find out they stopped 8-10 feet short of the city tap because they claimed that's the city's responsibility and they cannot touch it. This sounded odd to me so I had the city sewage come out to confirm the validity of that statement to which I find out Hamilton's claim was FALSE and I am responsible for that section. I called Hamilton and shared the news with them and requested I'd like them to finish the job they were hired and paid for, they should have done their due diligence to confirm this before doing the work!! They came out and told me that's another $10,000 job!!! Absolute deceptive and unethical practices. I had my local plumber come out and they said they could do the same job for $3,000 which is besides the point given it should have been in the original exorbitant job to begin with!! They also left a belly in my clean out which was supposed have been resolved with the initial job, it still remains there. They do not return my emails, do not return my calls. This will not just be forgotten, at this point, it's best left to my attorney given Hamilton is avoiding me. Now I understand why no less than half a dozen various contractors cringe when they ask me who did the work and I respond, ""Bob Hamilton.""

I would give them less of a score but can't go below a 1 star.... Bob Hamilton was scheduled to do a sewer scope and camera. I had an appointment scheduled between 2-6pm. They said I would get a call from the technician 30 minutes out.... Finally at 4pm I called to see if any updates, I was told by scheduler that unfortunately they didn't have any technicians available!! and didn't know when they could get to me. I was transferred to a ""manager"" who was not any help at all! Why make an appointment if you aren't going to show up? Had I not called I would never have heard from them. I will NEVER use bob hamilton!!!! worst company ever. My time is just as important as their time. Are they going to pay me for waiting and messing up my schedule???? I don't think so.... Just saying their $79. scope and camera ploy is just that!!!! A ploy to get you to schedule and up charge you when they get there.... Worst plumbing company ever!!!!!

We had two problems going on with a root in the toilet drain and no heat in the office. We requested service for both and they sent a supervisor out to look and let us know he would send someone the next morning. He never scheduled them and never addressed the heat problem. The next day we were given a window of time, and they never showed up. After 3 days (and 4 calls one day with no actions promised), we contacted another company and had the problems resolved immediately. Shame on you. What if your family member was without heat and a bathroom in the winter for 3 days.

I called this company to clean out our sewer line yesterday. They were supposed to clean out the pipe and do a camera inspection. The first technician that came out told us that our line was probably collapsed under our driveway. The next day another technician came out with a camera and said it would be $10k-$15k to dig out our new driveway and fix the line. And of course they have financing. Also the camera technician would not let us see the camera view. They did not come back to finish cleaning out the line.
We had another company come out and they finished cleaning out the line and did not find a collapsed sewer line.
I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau.
