Eric was incredible - we had him out two separate times to help with a clogged toilet. He was able to come out on short notice, and the service was very efficient and at a very fair price. Also appreciated how clean he left everything! Would hire him again for all our future plumbing needs.

He understands how sewers age and is judicious when recommending repairs unlike some plumbing companies which recommend replacement/repair at the cost of thousands to the homeowner even though the sewer is fully functioning with no issues. Eric at Halvorsen cleaned a sewage line for us at a house my partner and I had an accepted offer on. Unfortunately, the sewage line needed heavy repair and after reaching out to 4 repair experts, the cost was going to come out to $14,000. Eric decided to tell the sellers the sewage line was in average condition and this made the sellers think there was no repair needed. This cost my partner and me the house because we were going off actual experts and not just the cleaning service. Very disappointed in this service and how Eric handled the situation. He shouldn't have given any opinion on the matter since he doesn't repair sewage lines, he just cleans them.

I cannot recommend Eric and Halvorsen Sewer Service highly enough. They have integrity, great pricing, and great service. He saved me from bring ripped-off by a large sewer company to the tune of thousands of dollars.

Our sewer backed up on a Sunday and as a first-time homeowner experiencing something like that for the first time, I panicked and called a large sewer/plumbing company. They came out right away and cleared the sewer line. They brought out a guy with a camera who scoped our sewer line and told me it was broken and required an emergency replacement, costing $17,000+ to replace the entire sewer line.

I called around for a 2nd opinion and found Halvorsen Sewer Service. Eric responded to me on a Sunday, expressing concern with the assessment by the large company and offering to come take a look at it for me the next day.

Eric used his camera and quickly told me that the sewer line WASN'T BROKEN. The perceived break was a buildup of concrete slurry on the bottom of the pipe, causing some water to pool. Eric cleared the concrete slurry from the pipe and told me that he did not think any repairs were necessary. He even provided me with a copy of the video of my sewer line which the large company did not do.

I sent the video to a 3rd company and they confirmed Eric's opinion that no repairs to the sewer line were necessary.

Halvorson Sewer Service did an incredible job cleaning the sewer line and getting all of the things the large company missed, at a MUCH more competitive price. He educated me thoroughly and gave me great advice on how to maintain the sewer line going forward. If you have sewer line cleaning or inspection needs, I cannot recommend Eric and Halvorsen Sewer highly enough.

As a property owner one of the most upsetting sights is to look down into a sink and see it filled with dirty water because of a clogged drain. Eric at Halverson Sewer Service is your salvation. We have been using him for at least ten years and he has always come through for us. He has a great sink side manner reassuring you that all will be well soon and the problem isn't all that is unusual or serious. Just what you need to hear as you envision the possibility of major pipe replacement. Eric is prompt, competent, courteous, and his fees are reasonable. We worked with Eric Vonzel, owner of Halvorsen Sewer Services, for a floor drain clean out, not the main line this time which he cleans out for us annually. Eric is FANTASTIC to work with--replies promptly to calls, gives an arrival window on the appointment day, then texts 15 minutes or so before arriving as needed. Wears a mask throughout, super nice person, remembers all the details about prior jobs! When we had a sewer back-up a few years ago and a really shady plumbing place (um, Ben Franklin) wanted us to do some bizarre $2000 treatment (after their first one failed because they did not clean out the line all the way to the street!), Eric came out and fixed everything for $150. He is the best, could not recommend more highly.

The Service was great. He showed up early for an 8 AM apportionment. Our job too over an hour longer than anticipated and he was persistent in removing the roots even tho it put him behind on his other jobs. We were also offered suggestions to prevent the problems from getting worse in the future! Great job! Thanks!
