James H.The owner just told me to lose his number and called me a Piece of Sh!t. I am a retired police chief, I am far from a POS. So this guy had his two lazy brothers put in a water heater for me in March of 2020. By August they had to repair it. But only after they had me call the manufacturer. He wasn't in a hurry to do anything feeling it was a warranty job. He finally did the job. Well now 1 year to the date the part went out again, DON'T buy a RHEEM gas water heater from this guy and don't use him. Had an issue with the water manifold in the house as well. They came out and fixed that, after I bought the part. Next time, he said he would check on where his guys were and get back to me, he didn't. So I called again today for the water heater, (Shouldn't have). He is on vacation, so he is so small time that he only answers his phone and doesn't call back. When he did, he told me to lose the number and called me a POS...guess he doesn't want business.

Halo Plumbing was so accommodating in the replacement of our outdoor tankless water heater that broke during the February arctic freeze. We went weeks without hot water due to the high demand for heaters. Prior heater we ordered from somewhere else was the wrong heater. Halo had what we needed and set up installation immediately. The techs were very knowledgeable and took great care in setting us up correctly. We bought them a pizza for adding us to their route on a weekend. Hot water again - oh happy day! We really appreciated the help Loren and Karen gave us in getting us squared away. The service was wonderful and I will not hesitate to use them again when needed.
I had a leak in my vent that was leaking sewage gas into my house and I was referred to him by a home inspector I've worked with in the past. It took Loren 3 weeks (and me having to pester him) to even get out here to look at my problem. they came, diagnosed the problem and told me they could do the work the following week AND that Loren would be sending me an estimate for the work. Winter Storm hit the following week so he was unable to do the work because there were more urgent priorities. I called the office and was told they could not commit to doing the work for me for the foreseeable future. I waited 3 more weeks to see if could get something on the schedule open and today when I reached back out, I find out he is on vacation. I sent Loren a note letting him know I was disappointed in the poor service and asked him for a refund on the money I paid for the initial visit, and he responded by insulting me and telling me to get over. FULL RESPONSE IS INCLUDED AT BOTTOM OF REVIEW.
My favorite part is when he told me I "was that guy that was 'All ways' picked last cause no one liked me, and now I'm that guy who feels like I can speak my mind behind a text". That was the plumber's actual response to me expressing disappointment with his poor service and asking for a refund. Zero accountability - just insulting and blaming me. Cool.
Clearly, multitasking and customer service is not his strong suit but to talk to me like this and then block me so I cannot respond says a whole lot about him. He might be a "good plumber" (I wouldn't know) but he dropped the ball big time. Had he not blown me off for three weeks, the repairs would have been completed before the storm came. Then when I follow up with him, he insults me and blames me. Too many other plumbers out there to waste anymore time on this turd.
FULL RESPONSE I RECEIVED FROM PLUMBER:
Sir you are being very petty now. I really feel for who ever has to live with you!!!! Did we not come out and do the job you hired us to do?? You asked us to come out and do a service call to find the sewer smell in your home!!! My techs came out found the issue in 10 min, that you spent 20k on with another company to fix this issue. We only charged you $65 bucks to diagnose what you spent 20k on. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but if I were you, I'd be pissed as well. Sounds like you should of hired us from the beginning instead of those other guys. Now you want $65 service call back cause your made we won't do the work???? We gave you a price that day and told you we could start that day. You said you wanted your original inspector back out, ok your choice. Now we have been booked up solid due to the storm, and your being a child, grow up and move on. Your that guy who was all ways picked last, cause no one liked you and now you feel like you can speak your mind behind a txt. I'd be mad too if my dumb ass spent 20K on work just to find out it was all wrong. But before I spent 20k like you said you did, I'd go and get two or three opinions, but that's just me.....

From the time I reached out to when my new hot water heater was installed was less than 72 hours. They were really responsive with great customer service.
We had a burst pipe due to the winter storm two weeks ago. Halo Plumbing came out on 2/19/21 to do a temporary cap on the line. Another burst pipe was discovered on the other side of my house and that section was replaced at our request so we could get some hot water. Their guys were at my place for a little over an hour but we were charged $1235 for just a temporary cap on one line and fix on the other line. We paid in good faith expecting that they would come out later to finish the job. Loren (owner) has not responded to any follow-up texts from me about sending a receipt for payment nor about when they would come back to complete the job. Very disappointed with their unprofessional behavior.
I had a bad drain clog. After trying to tackle this on my own I had to defer to HaLo Services.
Loren, the owner answered my call & asked for a brief description. Two hours later he was at my home. Within :45 mins of arrival he had the clog handled.
Great company, service and a fair price. I will definitely use HaLo Services for future plumbing and related needs. I highly recommend this company.
Reached out to Loren to install a new water heater in our townhome. For context, it's a three-story townhome with the water heaters in a very tight space in the attic. Loren was able to clearly walk me through his thought process for what heater we should install and was quick to respond, transparent and offered fair pricing. Jair and Nayar came out to install the heater and both were friendly and clearly knew what they were doing. Highly recommend!
They were very responsive, and were able to come out the same day to see why we kept losing hot water. I spoke directly to the owner as this is a smaller plumbing company. He was very knowledgeable, as was the plumber he sent over. They were very professional and personable, too.
Linda R.When you are contacting someone to come out and deal with your pipes/plumbing it isn't going to be a fun experience. In this case even though it was bad news and we knew it was going to cost us money we didn't expect to pay, Loren was so incredibly professional in his handling of our situation. His entire team was extremely professional and quick to get the work done with complete transparency throughout the process. Double checked all the work and made sure that we had a clear understanding of what we were looking at throughout the various times he came out. Would highly recommend him and his team.
