Had a hot water heater needing replacement as well as garbage disposal and Keith worked late into the evening to finish the job with no time without hot water. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable. Efficient.

I was dispatched this company through my home warranty and I am very glad I was. Tony was the technician that did the work for us. He was very professional, helpful, and friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the work being done. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and if I need a plumber in the future I will call them and request Tony. Thanks again.

It is hard to review a company that you didn't use, but it is not my fault I didn't use them. Wanted to have the work done on a Friday afternoon when I was off, but the owner said his plumber doesn't work Fridays. What is better than a half day on Friday? Not working at all on Fridays that's what. The owner asked me to get some pictures of my water heater to his plumber for an estimate. The owner called on Monday to schedule my appointment. He looked at his schedule and was very surprised he had none of any of his plumbers scheduled for Wednesday so he scheduled me (this was the Monday prior). The next day (Tuesday) I was called and was told my appointment was moved up a day to Tuesday afternoon so I had to make sure schedules were rearranged to accommodate the plumbing company. Tuesday evening the plumber called to inform me that he just got off of an all day job and the company from which he needed to buy the part for my water heater was already closed and that I would have to wait until the next day (Wednesday) to find out when I could get another appointment. I waited, giving the company plenty of time to resolve their internal scheduling issues and give me a call. At 1030 I called them to find out when I would have a plumber at my house to do the service THEY had scheduled the day before. I was informed the scheduling office was scrambling to rearrange appointments and they would call me back with a time. After waiting for an hour after that phone call, I called a local plumbing company and they sent a technician out right away. I finally got a call from HPP about my appointment being this even between 3 and 5. I told them I had someone at the house already from another company and HPP could cancel my appointment. After I received the quote from the other company I had to bow my head in shame and call HPP back to see if my appointment was still available and they said it was and in fact they would give me 2-4 instead of 3-5. At 330 I got a call from the plumber saying the company that carries the part is out of stock and there was no definite day when they would have my part. So here I am with a water heater that doesn't work and a company that doesn't work either. You would think that two negative would be a positive, but not in the world of plumbing. Oh and there is no insurance company calling the shots making decisions for HPP...no this is just the way they operate. Unhappy, unsatisfied, and more heated than my water. I will pay more to a company that is local and isn't doing mediocre work up and down the valley.

I'm so disappointed after seeing so many 5 star ratings. I didn't learn my lesson the first or second time I used Half Price Plumbing, and the third was even worse. Here are my experiences:

1. We bought a house and quickly discovered that the pipes knocked/screeched. I called Half Price Plumbing, they showed up, took my $90 service call fee, told me the sound was because my house sat unoccupied for six months and that the noise would go away within a few days. Before leaving, he said the tankless water heater had a leak that the inspector should have caught and that I should try and go through my home warranty company.

2. Called my warranty company and guess what? They sent Half Price Plumbing. They sent a brand new kid, WHO IS IN TRAINING, by himself. He had absolutely no idea what he was doing and had to call the office several times to ask questions. Then he turned the pressure relief valve and completely flooded the inside of my tankless water heater. He got very scared and said, ""That's not good,"" then stood there while we cleaned up the mess. He said the leak the previous plumber had mentioned, that prompted the call to the warranty company, was an old leak that had already been fixed and there was nothing wrong (aside from the fact he just flooded a box full of electrical stuff). So a wasted $75 warranty fee based on what the other guy said two days earlier. Also, the water heater hasn't been ""right"" since the kid flooded it.

3. A few weeks ago I bought a new sink and gas oven I needed hooked up, and I thought, ""Well, I haven't had the best track record with this company, but how could they possibly screw this up? I'll give them one more try."" The plumber who showed up turned out to be the very first guy who we saw who said the screeching would go away. When I mentioned it he shrugged his shoulders and laughed. He showed up with another plumber, which I though was pretty cool because she was female. You don't see a lot of female plumbers so I thought it was awesome, until I found out it was actually his wife wearing a Half Price Plumbing shirt so she could come on the job with him. I felt pretty deceived. He didn't have the tools and parts he needed, sent me to Home Depot twice, Lowe's once, and Ace Hardware once to fetch things he said he ""normally has in his truck."" But this day he didn't and wasn't sure why. I was not happy. He and his wife spent half the time sitting in the truck smoking and fighting, leaving cigarette butts in the street in front of my house. With all of the running around that I did, and spending my own money on tools he should have had, he charged us $575 to hook up a sink and put an L valve on a gas line. Robbery!! I called the office regarding the outrageous bill and the girl on the phone said, ""We give the plumbers the liberty to set the price."" Wow. To top it all off, an hour after he left we turned on the dishwasher and the air gap vent flooded and there was water everywhere. We quickly called the office, they sent him back, and he said, ""Oops, rookie mistake.""

With the pipes still knocking five months later, we called the home warranty company last week and asked for a different plumber. The guy from the company they sent asked all the right questions, absolutely knew what he was doing, marked the water heater as condemned and got approval for a new one. He also refused payment because we had already paid the warranty fee for the exact same reason, even though it was 5 months ago.

My home warranty dispatched Half Price Plumbing out to my house after I discovered that the coupling nut on one of my toilets had failed which not only caused quite a mess but also forced me to turn the water off to my house due to the supply line to the toilet also failing.

Jon ended up coming out to my house within an hour or so of the work order being opened and had everything all fixed up within another hour or so.

I'm extremely grateful that they were able to make it out to my house and fix the issue all in the same day. Thanks guys!

I used Half Price Plumbing because they were subcontracted out by my home warranty company. I filed a claim about my toilet running too loudly and for too long. The claim was filed online via my home warranty company. I got a phone call from Half Price less than 30 minutes later and was given an arrival time of a couple hours later. After hanging up, 20 minutes later I got a call from the plumber who was ahead of schedule and asked if he could come over right away. He was at my house shortly after and quickly identified a broken part. He had it changed out and was finished promptly. The toilet still runs more loudly than others but I'm thinking it's just the way the toilet is. I would use this company again.

I was in dire straits in needing a plumber...my prayers were answered when Jeremy came from 1/2 Price Plumbing!!...not only is he polite and courteous...he is so knowledgeable ...and most helpful...I beleive he went above and beyond the scope of my plumbing problem....Jeremy got his previous job done early so he called me to see if he could come over sooner than the appointed time...of course I answered....
He worked diligently and got the work done quickly in this summer over 100* heat I was amazed. He also left the work site clean...price was was very very very reasonable for you senior citizens on a pension like I am....
I would recommend 1/2 Price Plumbing for your plumbing problems as I was so happy and satisfied.....
To the owner of 1/2 Price Plumbing....Jeremy is a gem and a great asset to your team..bravo!

I thought my bad experience was over! On Dec 26th 2016,Day after Christmas 4 months ago, I went with out a Broken pipe repaired for over 1 week due to ignorance of not being able to find the septic tank also the Slow Snail Pace as they waited many days on the Plumbers helper who was late for work and lazy, 1st day he dug only 5 feet in 8 Hours towards getting the broken sewage pipe out! End of the Job he dumped over 100Pounds of sewer broken Red Clay/Ceramic pipe in my trash which I had to dig out of my trash and put it out on the street and phoned them to pick up. Now it has been 4 Months and as I was doing yard work I found the Plumbers helper has Thrown many more Ceramic Sewer pipe pieces Littered in my bushes by the work area. Were Talking about a Lazy worker who should have NEVER Stashed the Trash Pipe. I never brought up to the owner but it still bothers me the 100 year old house has steps which has cement steps which is decomposing with some of the steps broken but still in tact. The Plumbers helper was putting his shovel and tools on the damaged area of the steps and tore it up worse than it was badly. The new Helper who has no experience working on other peoples property had picked up cement pieces and threw them around. I noticed cement ending up away from the steps, which I had to go around picking up... I don't have a clue how this company can hire anybody and not tell them to respect customers property as a form of customer service. The first day the worker was asking me if I had any extra food lying around because he did not bring any food to eat foe work???? I hate having to clean up after other peoples messes especially since they charge way too much money for what they actually do. Truly a disappointment and outrageous. 4/29/2017 above is honestly truthful.

Honestly, I do not understand how you can have a bad experience with Brian and Jeremy. I do not know if the people who wrote the bad reviews below had Brian himself come out or not, but Brian is top-notch.

Here's my story.
I had recently moved into a new home and the sink we had installed was only 6"" deep and that was too small for my wife and I. So, we went to Home Depot and picked out a new sink that was 9.5"". This caused some issues that we didn't know we'd be having as non-plumbers...Because the new sink was 3.5"" deeper than the original, the decline from our disposal to the wall outlet was now almost level, which would allow water to sit instead of drain. We loved the new sink we got because it was nice, functional and large like we wanted it. So we wanted to find a way to install it if we could find a way. While in a bit of hesitation, I found out through some Google searches that I may have to just open up the wall and lower the pipes in order to create that decline. I did not want to puncture a hole in my kitchen wall, albeit it was under the sink.

Well, my wife and I were back at Home Depot trying to find perhaps another sink because we didn't think there would be a way. My wife then spots Brian and Jeremy picking up a few items there and just boldly approached them in their orange shirt asking ""are you plumbers by any chance?"" Brian brightly responded ""Yes!"" My wife then proceeded to tell him the problem we were facing. He then heard our story, gave some suggestions (at no cost, of course), and gave us his business card. It gets even better from here. He then tells us to call the number on the business card and request an appointment with him directly for tomorrow morning so that he can come out early before he goes to his first appointment. As soon as he and his son, Jeremy left, we called his business and Dean put us down on the appointment very kindly. He didn't ask any questions but honored the fact that we had indeed met with the owner of the company and the owner had personally requested us to be put on his appointment list for tomorrow.

The next morning, Brian and Jeremy came out and took a look at our sink. It literally only took minutes for him to diagnose the situation and fix it. The great part is, he did it all without even putting a hole under our sink. Now it has a decline for a proper drain, and we are able to use the same sink we love!

It wasn't just Brian and Jeremy's service that we appreciated, but their honesty and willingness. I always appreciate people who are not in it for the money or even to increase the number of their clients but genuinely care about the issues we face. It may have literally been a ""pit stop"" for Brian and Jeremy before the start of their day, but it meant a lot for my wife and I who needed a solution to our plumbing problem. Half Price Plumbing has our business for as long as we have plumbing needs to worry about in our life!

There wasn't a ZERO available for this review, so I had to give it one star. I wanted to purchase a Hot Water tank & Recycle unit from Home Depot and have it installed. Home Depot told me Half Price Plumbing was there installer. An employee came out and checked all details took pictures on his phone & said the Boss would contact me with a quote. That was about two weeks ago, he never called. I called the company and there was no contact by Brian the owner. Home Depot wasn't any help either. Today I am getting taken care of the same day. I may be paying FULL price but I am getting service.
