I had Half Moon come out to give us an estimate to install a new dishwasher. Paid for the estimate and they quoted over $500 to install it. (New dishwasher in a recently remodeled kitchen, replacing the old one). Stated it would take 3-5 hours.

Hahn appliance came out, delivered the new one and carted off the old one for $150. It took 30 minutes for the entire thing.

Plus side, the men who came out were very pleasant and respectful.

We needed to have our kitchen sink faucet replaced and called them last week. A guy came over to assess the situation. Gave us a few options. We decided to buy our own faucet and have them come back and install it for us. Today a young man, James, came out and installed the Fossett and it's beautiful. It works great and we are very happy with it. Good service from James, very professional And we would recommend them to anybody. James was our plumber today and he did a great job. We were very impressed with his friendliness and professionalism.

Hopefully you'll never need a plumber. But if you do call Half Moon. You won't regret it. They are a top notch company.

We have not finished our project, but the young man that came to our house was wonderful. He looked over all the areas that we need help. He gave me the price quote and told me where to go to get our fixtures.
Hopefully our fixtures will come in soon. I am ready to get this fixed.

On time and competent but charged $575 for pressure valve ($66 at Lowe's) and one hour of work. Hope you can afford them.

We had a natural gas smell coming from the gas line to our range. Sam with Half Moon Plumbing came out and found a leak on the outside gas line coming in the house to our kitchen. They replaced the piping and back in service and at a good price. Would highly recommend

Had a need for some plumbing work on my pool pump before the frigid winter temps took hold for keeps. With two bad knees, kneeling down on concrete for any length of time is about as pleasant as a prostrate exam from a zoo gorilla, so I opted to hide my man card and call a plumber.
I'd tried to use Half Moon a few times in the past, and could never get an answer when I called, and since plumbing problems usually won't wait, I went elsewhere.
Not this time. My call was answered promptly and ever so professionally. The gent on the phone (I'm terrible with names) was very polite and listened to my problem, getting all my info and setting an appointment for the next morning.
Cut to next morning, by 9am, I had a call from the technician, and by 10 he was at my door. We looked over the problem, he quoted me a number that was much less than I expected, and went to work. In a little over an hour, he was done, and were were yakking it up waiting for the PVC cement to cure so we could test the job.
Fired up the pool pump, and not a leak to be found.
Prompt service, good pricing, professional people. That should be their business name, but I guess ""Half Moon Plumbing"" rolls off the tongue a lot easier.
I'm sold. They have all my plumbing business from now on.

Highly recommend. They took care of a major issue for me that other plumbers couldn't. Prompt, professional, and genuinely caring. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

I recently purchased a home not far from this business. So when I was having issues with the master bathroom I was glad to have someone near I could call. They returned my call and scheduled a technician in great time.
The guy who showed up was nice, and I could tell he wanted to be helpful. He snaked the toilet, though it wasn't a long term fix, as it had trouble flushing again soon after he left.
My major disappointing with this service call is with the shower. It isn't running cold water to balance the hot. Apparently the cartridge is bad - he provided me a picture. Then advised that I call the maker to get a replacement part and continue the repair on my own. Once I called on the part, the company hangs up due to high call volume. So absolutely nothing is fixed. (note here that he tracked dirt clods from his shoes all over my house.)
Another plumber has said that the part is covered 100% under warranty and is acquiring the part and returning to do the repair. All in all, I threw away $150 on this guy and get to pay another plumber to do what he didn't.
