We were VERY dissatisfied with the overall experience with Halcomb Plumbing. First of all, it took two separate calls to set up the appointment because they did not return our call when we left a message on their voice mail. Secondly, they were 45 minutes late and never bothered to call to let anyone know they were running late. Thirdly, they were extremely expensive and charged $375.00 for 1 hour of work performed by Freddie & TJ. They unclogged 3 drains and replaced a fill valve on the upstairs toilet. Lastly, we called Dave Halcomb the owner to express our dissatisfaction and he seemed very concerned and said he would look into and call us back. Unfortunately, he never called us back. Work Performed 07/25/17

I needed a new hot water heater recently and chose Halcomb Plumbing. They were very friendly and professional. The work was done on time and was done very well. I had no problems with this company and would definitely recommend them.

I was very dissatisfied with service and cost of service call. I called to schedule a plumber to come out because there was an issue where the toilet over flowed. I scheduled an appointment and was never quoted a service call over the phone. The tech came out we missed him since we couldn't hear the doorbell and he left. We did not get a phone call that he was ever t the house until we called an hour later and found out he was there and gone. They did dispatch another person out who turned the water back on since it was turned off because of the over flow issue and flushed the toilet 8 times and said there is nothing wrong. he called the home owner and suggested they buy a new toilet. service call $ 145 highway robbery!!! if i would have known it was that much I would have called around. He took my credit card with him back to the truck because he did not have have his paperwork or anything with him, he carbon copied my card and a day later I'm getting phone calls that I need to pay them because he wrote my credit card wrong... simply terrible.

I have been trying to find our """"go-to"""" plumber and we finally have!! The office was responsive and our plumber showed up earlier in our window of time, as I requested (if it was possible). Freddie dealt with our situation, which was a problem left by our kitchen contractor. He was informative about some other questions that I had as well. Reasonably priced and professional. Call Halcomb plumbing!

We are a military family and rarely live in the area of our home we own in Roswell We are highly dependent on contacting a reasonable and reliable company to service our home in Roswell. Halcomb Plumbing immediately scheduled an appointment with us. They not only showed up in a more than timely fashion, but completed the work necessary for a very reasonable price. Thank you guys - we will be contacting you in the future and referring you to our friends.

Great Company!! I had a tankless water heater installed. Professional and friendly staff.

We have used Halcomb Plumbing several times over the last few years in our 21 year old house, mostly soon after moving in. They installed a somewhat complex shower head, unclogged a severely clogged kitchen sink, repaired the shower, replaced a broken outdoor faucet and replaced our water heater. They have always been very honest and professional and they get the job done correctly. We highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough good things about David Halcomb and his staff. We have been having septic issues for 3 years and have hired a few plumbers and septic pumping companies. Too many times we have cleaned up septic overflow in the basement from a septic system that was over 40 years old. I feel like this qualifies us to give an honest, informed review. We had a HUGE problem that needed immediate attention. Our entire septic system from the house on out to the septic field was old and needed replaced. Of all the plumbers we have met, David and his entire staff were the most professional, knowledgeable, honest, hardworking group of people throughout the entire process. We paid waaayyy too much money having the tank pumped and lines supposedly cleared only to find, sometimes even as little as 24 hours later, having the system back up into our basement again. The owner David Halcomb came to our home with a camera (something none of the other plumbers had), was able to actually see and show my husband what was obstructing the lines. David Halcomb proposed a stepped approach to our problem - other plumbers without cameras came in and immediately proposed the most extreme measures. We are too many times guilty of selecting """"the low cost leader/solution"""" and we usually get what we pay for, in this case, David Halcomb matched the proposed price of the low cost plumber and delivered a high quality solution that will last our family many, many years. I'm not going to kid you, it was a HUGE job...but their workers were here early everyday (most days someone was here before 7:30am), worked without stopping all day, left most days after 6pm and finished even the minor details before leaving. They took all their trash with them, fed themselves, asked for nothing, and were always very respectful and professional. These guys NEVER DID THIS... but how many times have I been asked for things as minor as drinks (gatorade), to food - lunch & snacks, to even - and this will kill you - to borrow our tools and have workers milling around our garage looking for things they need. So refreshing to have people who are prepared to do the job they set out to do! They even used a tamping tool that compacted the dirt so that all the dirt that came out of the yard went right back in it. No big hump in the yard, or hole later when it settles. Then at the end, they power washed my sidewalk and it looks better than it did when they came! The only bad part about that is I need to power wash the driveway now, lol! Our neighborhood is full of """"crappy old septic tanks"""" and I will be handing out his card to everyone with confidence that Halcomb Plumbing will not disappoint. I used to work in Corporate Communications and sometimes you have to get creative about reviews, but in this case, they made it easy by doing their job, exactly as they promised, and doing it well. So no need to get """"creative"""" to write a review here....just great service. We will definitely use them in the future.

I have nothing but positive things to say. David and his team is always responsive and courteous. He has been to my house many times. Unfortunately, I have had numerous plumbing issues and David is the only person I call. He has fixed a backed-up sewage line that involved digging up the pipe, replaced a pipe that burst after it froze, fixed a dripping pipe in my family room that was improperly repaired by a different plumber and replaced a water main pipe that burst. This was especially true with my latest issue as I panicked while water was rushing into my basement and it needed to be shut off at the street. David arrived quickly, on a Sunday, shut off the water, evaluated the situation, fixed the pipe and came back later to make sure everything was ok and to turn my water back on. David even helped me get a company over to start drying out my basement. David and his team has operated in good faith at every encounter and has high standards of integrity. He is the only plumber I call.

There is nothing worse than a company that does not operate in good faith or with standards of honesty when it comes to its own promotion. In other words, it's not cool to renege on your word. Let's start with this screenshot of a deal that David Halcomb will not honor. I took this on December 11, 2014. See the calendar icon at the bottom for proof. http://postimg.org/image/ndk3deokb/ If you look at HalcombPlumbing.com right now, you'll see no evidence of a coupon that was on the home page just a couple days ago. That is probably because I called last week and spoke to someone at Halcomb about coming to provide hydro-jetting of my sewage line. But alas. There was a coupon when I called offering one hour of hydro-jetting for just under $500 (it was the reason why I called Halcomb, since Roto-Rooter wanted to charge $1200 for jetting). It had no expiration date, and said that it was valid for their service area. I live in East Point, GA, and I was told by the person I spoke with that they provide service to East Point. Basically she said they don't tend to go past the airport. East Point is within the perimeter, before the airport. Just being clear here. The only stipulation is that you had to mention the coupon to get the deal. Good thing it was right there on the website until earlier this week. You can imagine how surprised I was when I was told that David would not honor the coupon. This was after I called on Wednesday, December 10 to setup the appointment. It was going to be set for Friday, December 12, at 12pm. But the representative (I believe her name was Lauren or Laura; started with an L) let me know that David had already put the jetting machine up and had winterized it. In order to do the job, he'd have to pull it out, do the work, then winterize it again. Boo-hoo for David. Here's the punchline though. The Halcomb representative did say that he would do the job, but it had to be for the regular price. $800, not $500. She said he might do it if he could get another jetting job in the same day, so it wouldn't be such a hassle to do the work, meaning that I'd have to wait until some unlucky person also had a clogged sewer line and called his company just to make him come and do the work at my house, in his service area, at the price he promoted. She even tried to make all of this relate-able, saying something like """"You know, for all the work he has to do, he says he can't do it for that little, because he has to pull the machine out, winterize it, take it to East Point, and drive it back, you know..."""" That's not my problem though. I didn't try to negotiate a price or talk him down to being cheap enough for my money. This was his price, and this is his job. He's a plumber and an owner of a plumbing company. That's the job, David, and this is the life you chose. I asked his representative to ask him to reconsider. I asked him to remember that I'd called in a good coupon for a service he offers, and has already confirmed that it's within his service area. By honoring the coupon, David would honor himself, his word, his employees and his company. You'd think he'd do the right thing. But no. David hasn't asked her to call me back. I have to assume that my $500 is not worth David's time or his honor. David does not value honor. David's honor is like Russia's currency. Worthless. Weak. Un-American. David's understanding of doing honorable business is saying, """"Eff your coupon. I changed my mind, because I am David Halcomb, and that's what's up. Gimme $300 more dollars, because I woke up like this."""" So David, here's to you making me go out and look for someone else to hydro-jet my sewage line so that my wife and daughter don't get sick from the bacteria in the water that might back up into the garage, basement and laundry room again. Here's to your honor. Maybe if I see you I'll buy you a shot of the cheapest Russian vodka I can find, and we can both laugh at getting away with being a liar and changing your mind because East Point or whatever. I'm sure you're successful. Be on the lookout for me to contact all of the publications who have featured you and let them know what type of business you conduct. No idle threats to embarrass you on my Facebook page or to tell my Twitter followers not to support you. Forget that. I work in media. I know how to make this bad for you. That's what I'm going to do since you don't even have the decency to call me back and say no, I still won't honor my coupon. Here's that coupon again, one more time, so nobody has to scroll back to the top. http://postimg.org/image/ndk3deokb/ Halcomb Plumbing is a company run by someone who does not honor his word. You can pay them at your own risk, but why would you if you can't even rely on them to be honest about something that's right there one day, but when you say you saw it and ask for it, they say no and try to make it disappear? Thanks again, David. Thanks Halcomb Plumbing. 2015 is gonna be your year.
