I scheduled a hot water heater replacement with Haining. The service technician was Damon. When he said he had 22 years experience and had installed thousands of hot water heaters I immediately felt I was in good hands. And boy was I right. He accomplished the 3 hour installation in a most impressive manner. Simply put, he knows what he's doing. Damon is a consummate professional at what he does. So if you place a service order with Haining and you are fortunate enough to have Damon as your service technician, you will not be disappointed. I sure wasn't. Signed: Thomas Barta, Clifton, Colorado.

Our water heater broke while we were away from home and was notified by the person watching our dog. Hanging responded in a very timely manner and they helped us have everything ready by the time we got home. I highly recommend them.

Haining has left a company of 20+ people and customers sweltering in 100 degree heat over the past several weeks. They have come out to our business multiple times to fix the HVAC with little to no success. They will not honor their warranty but the moment they leave they will expect payment even if the repairs were unsuccessful.

DO NOT USE. WONT BACK UP THERE WORD.
offered only a 1 year warranty when other companies offer 10. Said our bill was delinquent, hadn't even been a full week. AGAIN our AC is out and they wont come and fix the work THAT THEY DID!

If you want a great experience with Haining, make sure you request Damon. He does high quality work.

This was the single worst experience I have ever had with a business. I can understand why there are so many negative reviews. I was so patient waiting for promised service and no one can quite believe all the details of the story: a 63 year old woman without use of the toilet and the shower in my house. I told them there was no hurry - but after 43 days and finally having an appointment that left me STILL without use of a toilet I have had enough. I was yelled at, repeatedly ignored and yet continued to show unfailing respect and care for the people in the company. Finally, this week, I tried to reach out to the owners: voicemail and email both went unanswered. The story is so long and has so many details I don't even know where to begin. I have already started a word of mouth campaign at the lower than low level of customer service and even expertise that I experienced.
The last straw occurred last night and after a sleepless night and the second time frame calling the answering service without response to the issues, I have reached my limit. The first time was when the advice of a supposed Master Plumber manager named Trevor to use Oatey RD root destroyer when I left the house for Christmas with my 92 year old mother: I called Christmas Eve at 1:45 pm. The office had closed at 1:30. My call back -( with a flooded bathroom, a very detailed message and a RUINED white grout tile floor [bright copper sulphate blue thanks to the Master's advice and leaving the product on my doorstep] I know I won't hear from the owner (promised multiple times) and the tech last night 43 days after the initial problem left me without a flushable toilet as he was told to not use a single Haining part for the snake and reinstallation of the old style toilet tank. Apparently I needed two pipe seals. He got angry when I couldn't even fathom them telling me I had to do the remaining work by myself and left when I was shocked that he didn't offer to have someone return even two days later on Monday to reattach the 40 pound ceramic tank - which the poor tech trainee tried to show me how to do: telling me I had to hold the 40 pound tank, adjust the metal elbow, screw in two large nuts (without a plumber's wrench which they failed to tell me I would need) and connect four bolts by myself all simultaneously. Everyone who has heard the story - and even more despicable details - has been incredulous. It is beyond imagination how poorly I've been NOT served. Everyone I have discussed it with in the last 24 hours (as during all the six week wait I never complained nor did I say anything negative about the company.) is shocked and everyone wants to pass the story along to anyone else looking for plumbing help. It is mindboggling that they have no sense of human kindness, compassion or even decency. I have heard from several of the folks that have heard the story that they have either had negative experiences or know someone who has with these current owners. A neighbor used this company for years until it changed hands. The evasiveness and complete indifference is truly astounding. I am still without a toilet and, believe me, I am not holding my breath although I lost sleep last night over not hearing from the owner: he is supposedly going to call me Monday (a promise made several times by the poor independent answering service staff member). I am actually ashamed for each and every person who I have had the 100% total displeasure of dealing with. After being told how simple all the jobs were, the tech failed to tell me what the problem with reinstallation was - and I've been told there was no way they didn't have 2 two inch (50 cents each?) washers on their two company trucks as there was a trainee there with a second vehicle. I was promised I would have a working toilet finally - and, lo and behold, I don't. They had no rags, did no clean up and left the heavy tank unprotected in my claw foot tub and the toilet tank cover sitting in the pedestal sink --- every item could have been chipped and if I were to try to install it I could envision dropping it because of inexperience and slippage and breaking valuable ceramic fixtures. It has been a colossal nightmare and I advise anyone seeking plumbing assistance to run in the other direction away from this company. CUSTOMER BEWARE: do yourself a favour and call another plumbing company.
*** note on Monday, Feb 1: NO CALL FROM THE OWNER - Jim Hopkins - and in the afternoon I left him a 10 minute voicemail. I am embarrassed for them: seriously. Treating a senior lady who lives alone like this? It is truly despicable. Today I have told people who actually said they will campaign to pass the word: no one deserves to be treated like this. I spoke to and put a review into the BBB website which will appear in approx. 72 hours which has more detail. The answering service was notified that NO ONE called as promised FOUR TIMES so they know that they ALL lied.

I had them put in a whole house air filtration system and they never finished the job. Also, there are parts missing that actually came with the unit that were not installed. After they aledgedly finished installing the air filtration system they took the regular air handler filters and didn't replace those either. I went to their shop to get them back and they wanted to charge me $50.00 a piece to get them back. They also installed a Ranai constant hot water system and in the process removed my original humidifier without replacing it. It is my opinion that these people are the worst kind of service that money can buy. I was overcharged, treated badly, and ripped off for parts. If they break something while doing a service it will not be their fault, it will be the parts fault for being to old or defective etc... so they can tack on even more money, which also happened... beware of these people called Haining, there are two of them here and one bad mouths the other. In my opinion, the one I dealt with are outright criminal and the other probably isn't any better.

I had Haining home services come out to fix my fireplace. They came out mid November of 2019 and I did not hear from them for four months. I was told the part could take a month to ship in. I called in December and they didn't have record of coming out to my residence. After three months of not hearing back, I hired another fireplace company, The Chimney Doctor. They came out once, fixed my fireplace (no specialty part required) and sent me an invoice immediately. Come March, I finally hear back from the Haining repair guy. He stated the part was going to cost more since there wasn't a surplus, but they wanted to schedule the service. I explained it had been several months and I had not heard back nor did they have record of servicing my address. I told the service man that I already had the fireplace fixed for a FRACTION of what they were wanting to charge me. A week later, I received a bill for $59 for a diagnostic fee. The service man was in my home for LESS THAN 5 minutes. I went ahead and paid the diagnostic fee since the repair man came out. When I called to pay the invoice, I explained everything to the woman over the phone. She had an attitude, did not apologize and took my card number over the phone. I've had several quotes and jobs done on my house in the Grand Junction area and this was BY FAR the worst experience I've ever had. Make sure you get quotes and CALL AROUND before landing with this company.

Haining/AirTech recently installed a new boiler in our office building as part of a general renovation. After the install was completed (and paid for) it was found that heat was not being distributed throughout the building as it should have been. After attempting to diagnose the problem the Haining tech promised to come back but never did nor did the company ever contact me. A plumber from another company was called in and quickly diagnosed the problem as an installation error and repaired it. I went back to Haining for compensation since it was their error that made the additional repair necessary. Since they were given a chance to fix it but didn't, an owner of the company told me to my face, they would ""make it right"". Almost a month later I'm still waiting for a check. Haining used to be a reliable company that I would always recommend but no more.

well they lived up to the one star reviews as previously posted. we used this company two times prior for swamp cooler, but this call was for our water heater. called at 8:30am was told employee would be here approx. between 12 and 2. company called and tech ran into a more complicated issue and would send someone else around 3. he arrived at 4:30pm. took pics of the tank and said he thought he might have a part at the shop and would return in about 45 mins. at 6:05 I called company and spoke to emergency tech. the tech that was here said he tried to call me to give me update 3 times and I had no call log on my phone to verify this. we were left blowing in the wind. another bad experience from service company since moving from PA. genie showman clifton
