Hahn Supply
Company Overview
In 1898, Charles Hahn established ""Hahn Plumbing"" in Lewiston, Idaho at the young age of 23. Within the next 6 to 7 years, he expanded his business to include wholesale and retail plumbing. Charles operated from various locations in Lewiston until 1935, when he sold the retail segment and retained the wholesale side. In 1937, Charles Hahn died due to a heart attack. Hahn's built a new warehouse at 2101 Main Street in Lewiston in 1959, which continues to function as the corporate headquarters and primary warehouse. In 1989, Hahn's expanded by acquiring a tool repair business, currently called Hahn Tool Repair, and an equipment rental yard at 324 Thain Rd. in the Lewiston Orchards, which is now Hahn Rental Center. In the following 7 years, Hahn Rental Center opened three more sites. They can be found in Kamiah, ID, Moscow, ID, and at the main office in downtown Lewiston. As it moves into its 5th generation, Hahn Supply, Hahn Tool Repair, and Hahn Rental Center remain entirely family-owned.
