I know its always a crap shoot hiring a plumber, are they good at their job? Are the honest? Are they prompt? Well Jack at Hagen Plumbing is all that and a really great guy with a wicked sense of humor. We've used them about 5 times now and cannot recommend him any higher. They arrive on time, they work fast, they fix the problem and the last time they were here (Christmas eve, eve we had NO HOT WATER) we thought we needed a new water heater and were going to go tankless, which would have been an extra $7,000 but they said for a home with 2 people using as little water as we do, it wouldn't be worth us to switch to a tankless and then it turned out we didn't even need a new water heater at all, they fixed our old one for just $200.00 and saved our Christmas!
So yeah, they're our personal plumbers for life now.

Hagen Plumbing is a family-run business and it shows in the personal care and quick service they give. Bob shows up and fixes leaky pipes and anything plumbing related. We recently had a house full of guests when we had a leak between the upstairs and downstairs baths, resulting in the downstairs ceiling pealing and eventually coming down in chunks. Bob came quickly and found the leak and fixed the pipe. He always shows me his work and what's wrong and what it will take to fix the problem. No surprises. Fair prices.

They know what they're doing and if I ever run into anything that's tricky I'm confident in calling them as they are problem solvers. It's nice to have people working on your house or apartment that have the experience to know what they are doing and who think on their feet. They have serviced my apartment building several times - I've have had my share of plumbing needs - and I've always been happy with the results.
