I have used him twice, and in both instances, have been very pleased with both his expertise, and price. I have also used another plumber in the interim to install a well holding tank who installed a lessor quality tank, which spring a leak after only 5 years, 6 months, Haefner installed a better quality tank and educated me on the differences which I appreciated. I personally would use their services again.

My water supply well at my home experienced water flow problems so I phoned Haefner Drilling and spoke with Chuck Haefner. He says he could come out the next day after he finished another call that was already scheduled. In the meantime my employer called me and told me that they were sending someone out that they used before. I phoned Chuck early the next morning and informed him of that fact and that I didn't need his services. As it turned out, the guy my company sent out was a geothermal well contractor and had no experience on this type of system so I phoned Haefner back a couple of hours later and left a voice mail that I would now need his services and d pained what happened. He never returned my phone call and still hasn't over a week later. I phoned Meinert Drilling a couple of hours later and they came right out and took care of the problem. I don't recommend using service providers that can't even call you back. It makes me wonder how responsive they would have been if I gave them the job. I waited for a return cal for 2 hours but none came so I called someone else. Haefner lost out on a $4500 repair job. I guess they didn't need the money.

I awakened this morning to no water - not one drop from our kitchen spigot. Sheer terror. What to do? I called Haefner Drilling, the company whose name was still attached to my well's holding tank in the basement. They had last worked on my well in April of 2000. A recorded message told me to call Chuck Haefner's cell phone if it was an emergency (an emergency was defined in the message as being without water). I called the cell number and left my name and telephone number on the answering machine. About an hour later I received a return call from Chuck Haefner, the owner of the company. I explained my situation and found him at my door 45 minutes later. Six hours later, at 3:30 P.M. today, my new electrical switch, valves, and holding tank were in place and working perfectly. I find this level of service downright amazing. Not only that, but the man is extremely personable, intelligent, highly skilled, honest, and possesses a great sense of humor to boot. To Chuck's credit, a frightening situation was overcome. I made a new friend today.
If you've ever been out of water for even a short while, you know what a tremendous inconvenience it represents. And the fear of not finding the right person to do the work properly is simply mind numbing. That's why people like Chuck Haefner are truly such a blessing. I can't begin to say enough good about this man or the considerable amount of work he did to fix my problem quickly and for a fair price. All I can do is say that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HAEFNER DRILLING and feel it only fitting that I pass on my experience today to folks who, like myself, find themselves unexpectedly between a rock and a temporally very dry place. Called after a recomendation from my boss. This person name chuck said he would be here at 1 pm on saturday. didnt show up. I sent a contact through his web site expressing myself that i waited around. His response was not to try to fix the problem but to say he has bad memory. and not try at all to fix the issue. He just didnt care.
