terrible customer service!!! I was told I would receive a credit back after I had paid them over 7000.00 ! I have emailed and called over and over but can not get any response. no way to run a business!! the work they did had a year warranty but I am praying that everything works because I seriously doubt these people would come back and fix anything. I would strongly advise to seek another plumping service

I called Hackler Plumbing to fix a leak near the toilet in our guest bathroom. Since it is in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, I asked if the plumber would wear a mask while in the house. I was told that they were having trouble getting masks so the plumbers might not have them. I offered to provide them since a) I have them and b) my wife has some underlying health conditions that would be complicated by having covid 19. I was told that this would not be a problem.

I scheduled my appointment around my work schedules and was told that the plumbers would call when they were on their way. At this point I was happy.

Appointment day comes and I see the plumbers pull up nearly two hours early while I'm in the middle of a conference call. My wife isn't dressed for visitors, so I drop off the call, put on my mask and meet the plumber at the door. I make him wait until everyone is decent and then show him the problem. He gives me a quote for a fair price and we talk about the price to replace the whole toilet; fix the leak and upgrade the toilet. I'm onboard. Just want to find the right one, etc.

The plumber who previously stayed in the van talked about the different toilets. We decided to look at the web site and decide on a style and would call back. Plumbers needed to leave anyway (although they were still an hour before their scheduled arrival time).

My wife and decide on a toilet style, I call the office before closing time, leave a message that we are ready to proceed, leave my number, and nothing. A day later, no callback.

I understand that wearing a mask is uncomfortable and that maybe your aren't concerned about getting sick, but I am. Missing two weeks worth of work would be devastating for me and would possibly be life threatening for my wife.

So we will be going with a different plumber for our repair.

Fantastic company! Our tankless water heater stopped heating our water. We called our warranty company on Monday and someone wasn't going to come out until Thursday. We couldn't wait that long, so we called Hackler Plumbing. They came out the same day and Felix assessed the unit and found the problem in a timely manner. He was very thorough and informed us on how to resolve the issue ourselves in the future. Overall, we were very impressed with their timeliness, knowledge, friendless, and pricing. We will definitely be using them again in the future!

The best plumber in Mckinney I have found. I called near closing because I had clogged up my garbage disposal with celery stalks. (I know, now I know.) Anyway, the water just swirled and nothing else would go down. I tried the allen wrench that came with it but it did not dislodge the clog. So I called them and spoke with a plumber who told me an easy fix over the phone. This saved me time but also a service call so I was super happy! They were honest and didn't try to sell me on something I didn't need, and actually didn't even sell me on their need to come to my house. Would definitely recommend Hackler if you need an honest plumber in McKinney!

It has been a few days since my water leak was repaired, and I have been thinking about how to review this company. There are some very positive aspects and a negative one as well. I'll begin with the positives -- my above-ground Rainsoft water pipes started leaking sometime on Saturday after 10:00 AM (that's when my daughter left for work and all was good. I had already left for work). Around 9:00 that night my daughter called and informed me that we had no water...long story short, the leak was discovered. She called a plumber, I called different plumber -- they don't work after hours. Then I called Hackler -- very helpful, respectful...was told a technician would be there within an hour. I was informed of the service fee, which was higher because of after regular hours -- no surprise there -- and gave my credit card info. It was a little over an hour when two technicians arrived, around 11:45 PM. They quoted me the price to repair, which I felt was very expensive and over-priced. Another option was given which cost five times the price of the basic fix; needless to say, I went with the basic fix. Yes, I could have shopped around for another company...but at this point I just wanted water in my house. Besides, the next day was Sunday, which would mean another day without water. The repair was made, and I feel the guys did an excellent job. I have no issue with the customer service or the job that was done. I just feel that I was taken advantage of because it was a very late-night service call and I was in a desperate situation, so to speak. Another thing that bothers me is that I mentioned Yelp and was not given a discount for that (like their ad says), plus one tech said he would give me a senior citizen discount...but he didn't. After what I paid, any discount would have appreciated!

I live in California and have a rental house in McKinney . My tenant called and said they noticed some water in the main hallway and expected the worst as it is usually a slab leak. I found hackler plumbing on line and send them next day . They took special machine to find the underground leak but found the leaky pipe by the washing machine which was leaking for a long time . They are very honest , efficient . Will use them again for any plumbing issue

I would never use this company. I got a quote from them a moment ago and they wanted $425.00 to change the wax ring and bolts. They said it would be an additional $395.00 if they had to repair the flange. WOW... $820.00!!!! This is outrageous...I'm beside myself.
